His brother is almost as big, and probably more mature than Tally despite them being litter mates. They are having ball loppage done tomorrow.

Oooh!!!! They’re all growing healthily.

Er, can anyone here tell if a cat is neutered?

Asking for a new friend.

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/07/2022 16:50

Cat accoutrements are obvious. You’d know. Nothing like a good accoutrement loppage to sort male animals out.

Supersimkin2 · 07/07/2022 21:11

I asked my brother. He replied 🄜.

The relevant pom-poms are more like 🌰 than monkey nuts. Definitely not walnuts. Pees squatting. No spraying.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 08/07/2022 08:55

Apparently, the shells can hang around long after the nuts have been cracked...

Allergictoironing · 08/07/2022 13:45

Boycat DOES still have 2 tiny little soft protuberances in that area, and he was definitely done by the rescue at between 1 & 2 years old. Shows no signs whatsoever of knowing what they were for though - no spraying, no mounting (except one occasion when he seemed very confused as to why he was pushing against Girlcat's ribs about 5 years ago), sits down to pee.

I’ve been watching Teddie&Caspar on Instagram, Teddie has no idea what personal space is, it’s a wonder their owners get anything done.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 08/07/2022 18:48

Well we have moved from the cool shade of the garden to over the road in the parking bay where it is not even close to being cool. I'm sure this cat doesn't like me šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

coastergirl · 08/07/2022 19:31

Just had a look at Teddie and Caspar. That's exactly what Walter is like. If I'm doing anything on the floor, he has to get involved.

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/07/2022 20:44

Walter & Teddie are professional cats. Puddy doesn’t show an interest in things. My issues are my issues & she'll see me at food time.

Just glad she can’t request a G&T.

MsOllie · 09/07/2022 14:55

I'm playing with the mighty hunter

DD2 works at a local wedding venue and they've just got some new kittens so of course I've had to have a fuss with them when picking her up.
DD1 is on holiday in Lanzarote and has found the resort cats.

The idiot sisters have been going outside 😱 tbh after 3 years indoors they don't venture far but it means we can have the doors and windows open while it's hot 😊 they are mostly staying in the garden which is nice

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/07/2022 15:04

Pfft, my wedding venue wouldn’t let me have fireworks and they have sodding kittens.

I couldn’t go abroad, I’d spend all my time googling cat import rules for the uk and crying. Dh would be worse.

Supersimkin2 · 10/07/2022 18:44

Prince knows the rules, they tell me, Fluffy. Here he is looking Mediterranean on the terrazzo.

Ollie is sulking as I don't want a furry hot water bottle sat on me

Prince is looking very Mediterranean there Super. Your terrazzo is gorgeous 🄰

Leroy and I have an understanding in this weather MsOllie - I don't want a furry hot water bottle and he doesn't want to be one 😁

Fluffycloudland77 · 11/07/2022 10:38

Prince matches the terracotta pots!

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 11/07/2022 11:20

That really is an exceptional courtyard / terrazzo, made complete by Prince.
I'm now officially shamed by our really scruffy patio šŸ™€

Papergirl1968 · 11/07/2022 11:32

Prince is looking gorgeous. As is the terrazo!
I was lying on the bed last night, duvet kicked off, when Socks came and plonked herself down against my leg. I left it a few minutes so as not to hurt her feelings before shuffling a few inches away.

Allergictoironing · 11/07/2022 15:59

Just had an update on FWK's 2 deballed kittens - both doing fine 3 days later.

He also told me their weights at just a shade over 4 months. Bearing in mind that neither is fat, 2.90 and 2.94kg is a touch on the large side!!!šŸ™€

Allergic that is adorable - megakittens = more to love.

Yellow Sticker Gardening, Grumpy - Darwin’s secret of success. If it’s still alive by the time it’s Ā£1, you can tell that plant’s got zest for life against the odds. Only requirement for my very amateur horticulture.

I think I’ve finally hit peak adult - got a hose AND I’m not drenched. Prince loves it and is cooling out in the shiny dust-scented wet twilight.

PeloAddict · 11/07/2022 23:20

Can someone have a word with Ollie?
Perfect nap spot apparently Confused on a bloody thermal blanket

Well THAT was a wasted day away from the cats!

About 16 months ago, I was subjected to someone exposing themselves to me in public, middle of a Saturday afternoon, at the town main bus stops.

Finally today is the court date, so I turn up at the advised time (9.45am) only to be told the case has been moved to the afternoon. Sigh, but thankfully had charged the Kindle & packed food, plus the Witness Service guys were lovely. Eventually rescheduled time comes round (2pm), prosecution lawyer comes to see me to tell me the defendant hasn't turned up & I needed to go to the court room. Head Magistrate tells me that the defendant may have been given an incorrect time/location for the case to be heard, so the case has been adjourned.

So I've spent an entire day in a little witness room in a stuffy building with no aircon, outside temp 36C, and I'll have to do it all over again in the future.

Unimpressed. So were the cats when I got in.

Ah Allergic I’m sorry! That sounds absolutely horrible. All of it really. From the initial experience and now today!
