I’ve always had cats except when at college and flatsharing Spart. I’ve been bloody lucky cos they were all really lovely people (admittedly Big Red, the first one, had his moments - liked a drink).

Just cancelled the dentist, couldn’t kip cos no Capn. Havelock’s starting to come over for Dreamies and the cat upstairs is eyeing the empty balcony with envy.

The pigeons remain frankly inappropriate. They ate so much seed at their wake for Capn it ran out. Angry red eyes popped up at the kitchen window when I woke up. So I tore up some 39-day aged sourdough from M&S - delicious and ££££- laid it in the birdbath.

Sourdough kicked all over balcony in disgust. Ordered seed, not sodding bread, innit.

Oh, do tell us about Big Red!

I had to read the bit about the sourdough twice - I thought you fed them 39 day old bread ...

TC was being charming and friendly for a few minutes this morning. Accepting of strokes and being rubbed under the chin.
