Sleepy Socksie

Ollie knocked his marshmallow bed on the floor overnight. Found him sat sad faced on the sofa
Because he didn't have a teepee, chair, blanket or numerous other things to sleep on

Apparently the primark bag was a little small for Morticia so she did a bit of adaptation 😊

Thoughts and prayers for Puddy who I offered Lidl pate food to this morning. I had to do an emergency online click and collect for gourmet. I threw Salmon chew sticks in as compensation.

Poor neglected Puddy. 😀

Came back from hanging washing to find paws on the counter and Ollie snoring away. Oblivious

In a nice way, Ollie and Paws are a bit like some of the lazy chaps on the other boards who loll about all day expecting 24 hour service.

I'm definitely coming back as a cat. A spoilt cat who is waited on, of course!
I will be out the door to work at 7am tomorrow and the cats (and dog) will have their breakfast and go back to bed.

Ollie was sick last night (apparently it's steroid jab time). While I was cleaning that up, he decided to gas me out using his litter tray, then paws jumped in and started banging on the fridge. Not like it's my house or anything

Cats have to stealthily practice for the day they will take over the world.
Mine trap me in bed by sleeping one either side. I try not to go to the toilet in the night in case I disturb their beauty sleep.

Oh yes I stay in bed or Puddy goes full on food pest. You need good bladder control with cats.

And solidarity to all those keeps vets highly employed - DCat1's recovery from pancreatitis has been bumpy to say the least and involved many many visits to the vets and sleepless nights. Have finally found something she can eat that doesn't make her vomit and is helping resolve the weight loss (Purina kitten biscuits) but it's hard work getting all the meds into her (thyroid meds, steroids, appetite stimulant, antacid, painkillers).

He’s home since Friday night @Defiantlynot41 . I’m now doing his tracheostomy dressing daily and I’ve been taught how to re-fill the balloon holding his feeding tube in his stomach with water. Their coming back next week to watch me do it to make sure I’m doing it right. The trachy dressing is divorce every night “trachy nurse just folds it and flips it straight up” as would I if I was officially trained in it and did it all day long. District nurses relief I was doing it was palpable.
