So annoying. Totally wasted visit! No room at the hospital to have anything done today so have to go back again tomorrow.

Are there other vets in the locality you’d consider using? I’d be pissed at a missed infection in a cat.

Asbo had blocked glands once and so did my childhood tortie. Injury and infection should be the first two options for a diagnosis of pain in an animal.

I definitely think Walter has been chatting to Ollie. He's woken up and is yelling at me and head butting my shoulder.

I am glad that someone cares for Paws as it sounds like his other humans don't.

Haven't seen him for a couple of days so I suspect he's spacing out his human contact
Ollie was sick again last night I've booked him for his follow up and steroid jab next week with his usual vet

Anxiously awaiting Ivy news. She went in this morning and they are doing GA instead of sedation. I just want my baby home!

She is coming round from the anaesthetic now. They have flushed her anal glands and taken samples for culture and sensitivity test to identify bacteria and which antibiotic is best to treat it.

The vet was suspicious that it may be a food allergy that's caused it?? Apparent most cats with food allergies start at around Ivy's age (news to me) so slow switch to a hypoallergenic food is recommended too.

My lovely neighbour (who is also a crazy cat lady) is going to pick her up for me. Lots of gentle snuggles required for my baby girl this afternoon!

She's home. A bit groggy and still licking like crazy. Can see I will be getting plenty of cat cuddles tonight!
