Lucky black cat appreciation thread

Inspired by the ginger thread I thought I’d start a thread for those lucky enough to be owned by black cats.

I decided to adopt black cats after a rescue seater explained why they don’t let people adopt black cats right before Halloween . It broke my heart that stupid superstitious and cruelty meant many black cats went without homes.

So let’s have em! Share photos of your lucky black cats

I'm just about to get one!!!! She's only a week old so I've got to wait 3 months until she's ready to leave mum. I'm so excited. Her name is Eve - short for All Hallows Eve :-) I've had cats for 40 years and always adopted older, needy, sick cats but my son rang me and said please can you take one of my neighbours kittehs, her cat was found to be pregnant on the day of her neutering and she wants really good homes for the four kittens. So I said well ok then if I must

Our rescue cat, who now bullies us all. She was so sweet and friendly but she was stuck with Cats Protection for ages (they pretty much railroaded us into going to see her).
