My gorgeous girl gave birth on DDs bed whilst we were out today. 7 little squeakers all feeding. She’s happy feeding purring away!

Oh my word they're beautiful 😻 My boy is half Bengal, he's a loving brute!

CimCardashian · 22/07/2021 00:37

Oh they’re so cute. I love fairly near CH!

My old cat would hate a kitten around though sadly. They will definitely find homes easily I would have thought.

Madwife123 · 22/07/2021 00:47

@MrsA2015 Just because I’m curious, how can a “mostly Bengal” have paperwork?

Here is a photo of a Bengal next to a tabby. I understand why people see tabbies and think Bengal but when you see them side by side the differences are huge.

I bred Bengals a fair few years ago. It was my pet hate that everyone had a tabby that they swore had Bengal in them yet had none of the breed features. Of course it does no harm to call your cat what you want, just bear in mind when rehoming kittens if you advertise them as containing a breed they don’t buyers have now successfully taken breeders to court.

@MrsA2015
I’ve lived here my whole life (bar a few months working in The Rural North & 3 years split between here & a University “city” that was clearly a town with Notions) & I love it. Certainly not uncritically (“3rd time lucky” to remove my appendix was poor of UHelL; literally killing my mother & covering it up was… well… just hope the total reworking of management of diabetic patients & assorted safety measures right down to staffing levels means they’ve refrained from shattering any other families through sheer negligence since Hmm - & even over 10 years later I miss Jimmy Mizen: he genuinely was the sweet lad everyone talked about in the press…) but Better Than Bromley. Or Eltham, for example, which my uncle says is the only place locally that, when he was younger, he was ever REALLY scared an idiotic racist was actually going to do him some serious damage… I am very lucky to be in a nice bit. Not a naice bit, just nice, though the gentrifiers are definitely moving in on us…
I’d to shield, so changes to the High Street l saw a couple of weeks ago when I’d to go to the optician were a bit of a surprise - though the new zebra crossing on Lewis Grove to take you over to the market (by Santander) was a good surprise, at least. Covid was inevitably going to hit hard - & inevitably there’d be feck-all support from Central Government. Ugh. At least people were willing to help each other - the whole covid mutual aid thing started here & I was impressed with how much stuff was people expanding their existing work (like your one who makes wee care packages for isolated elderly people with books/magazines/puzzles went into overdrive to reach more people).
Is there anything I can do to help? I do realise I’m a complete random from the internet - I’m also still pretty much stuck inside because my body is shockingly badly behaved - but if there is anything, please say.
Returning to chattons rather than mouttons: lovely photo of mummycat there; like everyone else I look forward to all kittenpics you’ve time for Grin

Soubriquet · 22/07/2021 12:48

Oh they are beautiful. Nothing like newborn kitties to raise the spirit

ShadowInVain · 22/07/2021 12:50

Oooh, tiny pussycats! Squeeeeee!

Anystarinthesky · 22/07/2021 13:19

Lovely Mum and kittens! xxx

KarlMaldensNose · 22/07/2021 20:11

@MrsA2015
Mum is a goddess - what a beautiful contented cat she is absolutely perfect and those kittens are going to be such gorgeous cats…..I’m so jealous in a nice way 🥰
Seven perfect beauties I don’t know how I could cope with the boring stuff in everyday life I’d be glued to them
Your photographs are exceptional as well - thank you
How few the little belters today and how is mum?

Oldraver · 22/07/2021 20:23

Ooh kittens lovely

MrsA2015 · 22/07/2021 22:08

@Madwife123 I know exactly what you mean, we were almost duped a few times however when dh went to pick her up he requested to see both parents and the paperwork for them, our mousey had a “birth certificate” if you like, the dad had some moggy in him whilst mum was full Bengal. When we took her for checkups, vets confirmed? We absolutely wouldnt be selling as “Bengal” at all nor selling at all, even if people pay up I still don’t trust anybody who can’t be vetted! Idiots pay £100s for shoes let alone a cat they think is a commodity.

Not just kittens

SEVEN of them

I can’t stop thinking about how much love SEVEN kittens would need, I’m sure I’ve got that In me though

KarlMaldensNose · 22/07/2021 22:11

@MrsA2015
She is a million per cent perfect (i know a million per cent is not real)
It doesn’t matter because she’s perfect and so are her little gorgeous babies

MrsA2015 · 22/07/2021 22:17

@Madwife123 thank you though for the insight* we were completely new to the pedigree world. The only way we were personally certain is that dh didn’t suffer around her! He’s otherwise badly allergic around cats! It must’ve been so lovely to have kittens all the time. What am I in for? Any tips would be appreciated Grin

MrsA2015 · 22/07/2021 22:23

They’re all doing well, 4 girls and 3boys. Teddy boy is the fluffiest!

KarlMaldensNose · 22/07/2021 22:27

It’s so much cute it should be illegal 🥰

KarlMaldensNose · 22/07/2021 22:28

You love teddy
You must keep him as he seems to have captured your heart

MrsA2015 · 22/07/2021 22:29

@TheBalletCats completely agree with you on those points, sorry to hear about your struggles! I’ve been here 6 years (dds lifespans) and must say I’m quite happy with some of the positive changes although it’s in favour of gentrification I suppose. I’m a newbie so any change is good as long as it’s helping the community. If you happen to see or hear of a madwoman running down the high street shrieking she’s got kittens shredding the entire place it’ll be meGrin thank you for the offer and I wish you well with your healthFlowersBrew
