Churchill’s house, now National Trust, is run by a ginger cat called Jock. In his Will our Greatest Briton specified a NMC to be on the premises of glorious Chartwell at all times. Must be ginger and like soft four poster beds.

Ivy is such a mummies girl. Every time I wheel past her cat tree she chirrups and sits up to give me a little kiss. ❤️❤️❤️ shes an angel.

Not my cats are having some treats (I have permission to feed!)

@YetAnotherSpartacus Charlie is in disgrace for leaping up onto DHs shoulders from the floor. 11kg of Savannah hanging off your back by its claws is not a pleasant experience!

I've been for a sports massage and had a creme egg ice cream on the way home

@NotMyCat I'm envious on both counts, my back and hip are killing me and that ice cream looks lush. You really do know where to get the yummy stuff

Don't be envious of the massage, I went because my shoulder is objecting to being hunched over a laptop WFH for 16 months
And she was brutal I have ice on my neck now

Likewise, I was shielding and haven't been in the office since Early March last year, my neck and shoulders are only eclipsed by my hip pain. Also kinds weird, I like those 'good hurt' massages!

Just had a shower and looked at my back and the bruising is coming up

@TheLongRider - not much of a quiet chomp tbh. There was a lot of sniffin', snortin' an' sneezin' going on. He was as happy as... well... a cat in catnip 😁. We let him have a mooch about while I watered the plants too.

@NotMyCat - I had absolutely no idea I needed a Creme Egg Ice Cream, but I do! Who sells them?

Creme egg do their own but I haven't seen it recently in supermarkets

Oh my word, some fab ice cream flavours there. I once had liquorice ice cream in a very fancy restaurant in South Africa

I'm making do with a Waitrose No1 coffee ice cream choc ice on a stick thing, very nice! Apparently the salted caramel one is also good, I can't tell you because they seem to have evaporated from my freezer (care of DH)

There's a company called Fredericks ice cream nearby that have been going for years, it's delicious! They did a wedding cake flavour for Prince Harry's wedding which was strange but very good

We would drive past on the way from school and I would beg dad to stop and he would always begrudgingly let me and then "oooh maybe I could just have a teeny scoop"
He would emerge with some giant 3 scoop of rum and raisin and clotted cream flavour while tutting he didn't really want any
