Older boy licking nipple

For the last week or so my 16 year old boy has been licking his nipple. I keep catching him and telling him to stop, which he does, but then catch him again later (2-3 times a day so it's not constant). He's going bald around it, but nipple doesn't look red/weepy/bloody.

He did it for a while a couple of years ago and nipple became very red and inflamed, and then he stopped and it got better.

Have wondered if he's stressed, but can't think of anything that could be causing it, although we did get a new washing machine a few days ago so could be the stress of that? He's generally very chilled. He has been a bit quieter the last couple of days

Anyone had similar/any ideas why he could be doing it, or any tips on something which may calm him?

Do male animals have nipples??Confused

Yes. Well male mammals do.

alltoomuchrightnow · 31/01/2021 20:34

yes, Mildred! My boy kitty's are bright pink! And I have to be careful not to catch them when I brush him...he's not that fluffy.
I call them his useless nips..because they are.

SoupDragon · 31/01/2021 20:34

Of course they do! Haven't you seen a bare chested man before?
swinglowsweetchariot12 · 31/01/2021 20:37

Is this the same person who posted about incest last night?

Livelovebehappy · 31/01/2021 20:37

I thought from the title her son was licking someone else’s nipple! The scarey thing is I didn’t bat an eyelid until I came to the bit about the washing machine causing stress. That bit rang alarm bells, but not the nipple bit.

GlamGiraffe · 31/01/2021 20:38

Brilliant.

Heartbrokenstill · 31/01/2021 20:38

I think this is the work of a 'nipple troll' 😬

Christmasfairy2020 · 31/01/2021 20:39

This is hillarious

airedailleurs · 31/01/2021 20:39

@FrankGrillosFloof

I was wondering about the flexibility of your son’s neck... an animal would explain it.
haha me too!
HebeMumsnet · 31/01/2021 20:39

Evening, everyone.

It does look like there's been a mistake here.

OP, if you'd like us to move this to The Dog House or The Litter Tray just let us know.

Bluetrews25 · 31/01/2021 20:39

Bitty

Changemaname1 · 31/01/2021 20:39

😂😂 wow . I was confused as hell reading this untill I got a few posts down

NeedCoffeeToSurvive · 31/01/2021 20:40

Really hoping that the OP comes back to confirm this is about a pet...
If not I'd be concerned, impressed... But concerned.

ghostyslovesheets · 31/01/2021 20:40

it would be more believable as a genuine mistake (i.e. opps forgot to mention it was a dog) if the OP had come back rather than sitting back watching all the reaction - makes it seem contrived

Benjispruce2 · 31/01/2021 20:40

Stress of a new washing machine? Not usually a stressful thing. Does your son have SEN? If not I think I’d be having a chat and possibly making an appointment with your gp.

Tlittle · 31/01/2021 20:40

Thought meant a teenager felt abit 🤢

lozengeoflove · 31/01/2021 20:41

Was utterly horrified reading your first sentence, OP. My mind immediately conjured up a scenario in which your older boy, 16, was licking your nipples.
Now excuse me while I go to bleach my thoughts.

Benjispruce2 · 31/01/2021 20:41

Oh, I only read op! Blush

JaninaDuszejko · 31/01/2021 20:42

Bloody hell. Disappointed that this may be a troll rather than someone who has excessively anthropomorphized their pet.

Anything about the nipple-licking?
