Older boy licking nipple

For the last week or so my 16 year old boy has been licking his nipple. I keep catching him and telling him to stop, which he does, but then catch him again later (2-3 times a day so it's not constant). He's going bald around it, but nipple doesn't look red/weepy/bloody.

He did it for a while a couple of years ago and nipple became very red and inflamed, and then he stopped and it got better.

Have wondered if he's stressed, but can't think of anything that could be causing it, although we did get a new washing machine a few days ago so could be the stress of that? He's generally very chilled. He has been a bit quieter the last couple of days

Anyone had similar/any ideas why he could be doing it, or any tips on something which may calm him?

😂 thank goodness some posters are quicker than me: never occurred that it was a pet! Totally threw me that a new washing machine would stress out a teenager but then thought ‘well who knows - he does lick his nipples after all!’

I know teenage boys are into nipples but I really hope it’s an animal you’re talking about!!

I was trying to work out why a new washing machine would cause teen nipple licking

This was one of my bedroom party tricks in my early twenties

This one needs to be moved to the litter tray or more likely the doghouse

Seriously who writes an entire post pretending their animal is a child? By no stretch of the imagination is a 16-year-old animal a "boy", unless it's a tortoise or a parrot, neither of which have mammalian nipples.
