Is anyone else’s cat as neglected as mine?

That is, so deprived and uncared for that she has to eat breadcrumbs put out for the birds off the grass outside?

(Disclaimer - she is not at all neglected. She was fed this morning and she’s had her advent calendar and treats since then)

I also have an amazon cat. And this is them telling me their food bowls are empty and nobody is moving fast enough to refill them!

I refused to give more wet food after 2 pouches for breakfast and he couldn't possibly eat the dry food

One of mine is so desperate for a drink she knocks over vases of flowers to lick the water off the table.

@cjpark That’s good because I was worried if I got a female one at some point now we’re without the much lamented Bengal boy it would be too well behaved but yours gives me hope that they are also trouble wrapped in fur.

Poor old Dougal here has finished his breakfast pouch of wet food (with added crunchy topping) and now only has access to his unlimited hopper of dried food. He's got no option but to sit glaring at me and mewing pathetically about how terribly, terribly hungry he is Hmm

Poor Tabitha is so parched, she has to wait until it rains so she can lick raindrops off the plants in the garden. She is also deprived of love and comfy laps and has to resort to perching on erm, mini Chester draws Xmas Shock

One of my cats was forced to sleep in the clean washing basket all day today as there was no other suitable places to sleep in the house. (The 3 cat beds, human beds, sofas etc are obviously not good enough). She was forced to lie there from 8.30am until I restocked the food bowl at 5pm when she managed to crawl the foot along the worktop (utility room) to eat.

My friend has been doing a daily dress up of her cats, dogs and rabbits and putting them on fb and I'm not sure the cats are impressed!

Foster cat has got over the trauma of not being allowed to stare at the hamster, peel the sticky tape off parcels or lick tinsel and has vented her frustration by emptying my sock drawer to find what was buried at the bottom (nothing). She can fully excavate a chest of drawers in the time it takes to carry laundry from the dryer to the bedroom.

Mine is so poorly treated she has to go to my next door but one neighbour and sit on their windowsill wailing to be fed. Then she goes to my next door neighbour for treats and to sleep on my neighbour's belly and after that being played with by neighbour's grandson.

She can't sleep at night unless she in on top of me, I have a king size bed and live alone, but no I have to be slept on.

Cat face is sulking with me today. I dared to wash the couch cushions. The dc have spilled so much on them recently and they’re looking awful.

I’ve “remade” “her” couch with a snuggly blanket. But it’s not good enough.

Arfer has decided I’m throwing her out in the recycling. Or we have no fluffy warm cat beds available in front of the fire, or a freshly laundered wool duvet to sleep on. Take your pick.

This is our poor neglected beastie, he is soooooo hungry he has to go and shout at next doors morrisons delivery when it turns up.

My poor neglected cat got left all on his own in a warm dry flat, with plenty of food, water and toys for a whole 30 minutes whilst we went for a walk yesterday afternoon. How he survived I shall never know. The horror.

He spent all evening letting us know about his trauma. Loudly.
