Is anyone else’s cat as neglected as mine?

That is, so deprived and uncared for that she has to eat breadcrumbs put out for the birds off the grass outside?

(Disclaimer - she is not at all neglected. She was fed this morning and she’s had her advent calendar and treats since then)

I’m crying reading these! This thread has cheered me up this morning!

This one is practically sat on top of me shouting at me because he has gone an hour without a fresh supply of biscuits.

Mine has lick up droplets of condensation from coasters, and eat the scraps that my toddler drops during the dinner.

Mine has to drink chlorinated water from the tap because the cooled boiled water i lovingly put down is not good enough.

And the poor neglected kittens have to scavenge for every scrap they can because 4 meals a day are not enough.....

They do what the can to survive in this cruel cruel world.
This morning after a meagre breakfast of best ever tasty shreds, one of them was forced to eat a spider in the downstairs loo.

She’s now sat on the back of the couch. Still a bit soggy. Still mightily pissed off.

When we brought the Christmas tree in I swear to god she rolled her eyes at it as if to say “seriously? This shit again?!” This is her 5th Christmas with us.

Is anyone else’s cat as neglected as mine?

Breakfast was late being served as I was late taking her food out of the freezer last night. When I finally fed her she bit me.

I have learned my lesson.

@ememem84 when we brought the tree in Ivycat's eyes lit up like beacons and she literally went "ooooh TREEEEE" and had attempted to climb it every day. I redecorated it beautifully every day for a week before I gave in and just let the kids do it now.

@cricketmum84 ours is such a mess. My kids lovingly decorated it- there are now no decs in the bottom foot. The branches keep being knocked off. What's left is higgledy piggledy..... I keep meaning to redo it.....

My poor kitty is always so neglected, she has learnt she only gets fed when she comes into the kitchen via the window, so she will scoff a whole pouch, cry to go outside and then cries on the kitchen windowsill to come back in because she wants to be fed again!

Cheddar is so neglected that two water fountains isn't enough and she has to drink my coffee to survive. (She decided she didn't like it)

@massistar very cute but ooh be careful with those paper bags with the string handles. Our Betsy was playing with one from costa delivery and got her head stuck in the handle. Many many scratches later I managed to free her after she had charged around in an absolute panic and almost throttled herself.

I always cut them now so she can still play in them safely.

cat face is still upset because i haven't switched the rain off. she went out before, then came back in soaking and hissed at me. she's now on the couch again. making a nice damp patch on the cushions.

she's another one who has comfy beds but much prefers to sleep on the bed with me and dh. i don't mind this. dh not so keen as she tries to sleep on his pillow.
