Quick trek halfway across the country to pick up foster boy. Threw up twice on the way home and had a massive wee in his cat box Hmm. But he's home. The only way I can describe him is like a lollipop head. Very very skinny, was under 2kg when the rescue got him. For comparison Charlie is 11kg. So now to feed him up and love him and go from there. Happy Caturday Smile

Papergirl1968 · 07/11/2020 17:19

Well done and thank you, Just.
Poor little mite Sad

Supersimkin2 · 07/11/2020 18:33

Congrats @Justonedayatatime11, Official Kitty Halo of 2020. Have a lovely evening with the new kitling.

Justonedayatatime11 · 07/11/2020 18:50

He is an absolute star Smile

@Justonedayatatime11 he is lovely 💕

Papergirl1968 · 07/11/2020 20:38

Aww, hello beautiful.

TheLongRider · 07/11/2020 20:52

Well done Just! I hope he integrates well with the rest of the menagerie.

TheLongRider · 07/11/2020 23:38

Nemo enjoys being carried in a sling. Now I can use my arms again!

Supersimkin2 · 08/11/2020 08:44

Nemo's very pleased with himself, a most satisfactory result to being lost and unloved.

As does yours @Justonedayatatime11 - what a loving, clever face - he's really landed on those massive paws too.

We've got a catfood thief in Clapham!! Not Ghost of Mr C, but a human with a trolley who nicks Amazon deliveries. Lost count of how many of Cap'n's treats have been robbed - how low can a human go?!

Clapham Catfood Robber is known to the police. I am going to have spend tomorrow lurking in wait for a yeowwww banana replacement, while the managing agents and Scotland Yard try and soothe my little lad.

At the very least Capn should be offered counselling, I feel.

Papergirl1968 · 08/11/2020 11:13

Nemo! Grin
I thought you were going to say you were lying in wait for the culprit, Lana. You’re right, that’s low. There’s been a lot of issues round here with deliveries being left at the wrong address. My own problem with Amazon lately is that I ordered a pack of four Lindt Christmas crackers and only one arrived. They’ve promised to send the others but so far they’ve not materialised.
How’s it going, Just? Hope you had a peaceful night?

nettie434 · 08/11/2020 15:39

I love the way that, thanks to you, TheLongRider, Nemo has gone from a lost stray to being carried in a sling and having a mentor cat in Hobbes. Hope your new foster cat has the same transformation, Just. Obviously I don't mean an identical transformation - I am assuming he is a Savannah too and so will be Charlie size once he is being properly looked after. Definitely not sling size anyway! Fingers crossed the shocking Clapham Catfood Robber is caught, Supersimkin2.

Justonedayatatime11 · 09/11/2020 20:10

He's settling. I think it's going to be a long hard slog but we'll get there. Loves the garden but is a bugger to try and get back in. And is still sporting a very large pair of pom-poms Blush. So they need to come off ASAP! Given what he's been through he's very friendly and loves a fuss. Also took a liking to my Siamese girl.... she wasn't so keen and whacked him round the head!

Aww Just, he's gorgeous. So that's 4 Savannah's now? I'm surprised you have any curtains left!

QueenPaws · 10/11/2020 00:08

Look who is having a brush

He's a bit of a pet really, isn't he?

QueenPaws · 10/11/2020 07:29

Er. Possibly BlushGrin

Justonedayatatime11 · 10/11/2020 08:03

Um Defiantly41 it might actually be 8....

Supersimkin2 · 10/11/2020 09:22

We've had to call the cops again on the Clapham Catfood Robber. Cap'n will doubtless lead the investigation, he's livid.

Oh @QueenPaws, a sight to soothe the very soul - Paws loves you to bits.

QueenPaws · 10/11/2020 09:29

He banged on the window at midnight Hmm and stayed until 2am

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/11/2020 09:34

Good grief I can’t believe someone’s stealing cat food, literally nothing is safe these days.

Could be Paws though?
QueenPaws · 10/11/2020 13:16

Paws is admitting to nothing but he is looking a bit shifty

TheSilveryPussycat · 10/11/2020 15:33

Psst! Anyone wanna buy some catfood cheap?

Supersimkin2 · 10/11/2020 22:14

Grin I'm really hacked off about it. Capn eats his head off and those 40-pouch boxes vanish in moments. Our caretaker, who is 92 , recovered from covid and back from hosp, has two cats who we have promised to shop for cos he is not so hot on his pins at the mo.

As a further downside, the Moggy's Moriarty has not nicked the mountains of Catsan that keep turning up. Caretaker's cats naturally reject Catsan. Catsan still arriving daily.

Supersimkin2 · 10/11/2020 22:28

@Justonedayatatime11 New boy is just the most handsome gentleman. Glorious green eyes.
