Stunning photos Lana!

And all the best to everyone's kitty.

Justonedayatatime11 · 03/11/2020 11:12

Fluffycloudland77 I know, the amount of things I see about people not being able to cope with their Bengals either Hmm. You'd think they'd do their research! Will be spending the rest of the day gathering as much evidence as I can before approaching GCCF, TICA and the Savannah cat association. One way to keep me busy! Charlie is spending the day pulling wallpaper off from behind the radiator

We never risked wallpaper. It’s emulsion all the way in this house. Scrubbable emulsion.

I think you see active breed and think they’ll be out all day doing stuff not roaming around the house trying to open all the doors, drawers, cupboards & clawing the soft furnishings.

Ollie is enjoying the fact I have put the M&S bedding back on

Ollie is not just a cat, he is an M&S cat Smile

TheSilveryPussycat · 03/11/2020 15:50

Does Dobby do the housework or have you given him a sock?

TheLongRider · 03/11/2020 16:13

Hmm, you appear to have a black void in your duvet.

Supersimkin2 · 03/11/2020 19:54

Grin Grin @Papergirl1968 and @QueenOllie.

I did not take those photographs.

@Justonedayatatime11 - one of the huge problems in animal welfare is that, until too recently, not much was against the law because most people aren't cruel psychos or out for the £££. There was no need for laws against it cos people didn't do it.

That's why the Animal Welfare Act, which is basikerly the baseline standard for us all, was brought in - in 2006. And the cat and dog codes, too, later. Now puppy farming is being outlawed.

What you need to do - I can help with this but at the mo I have no brain cell and will have none for a week - is to look at the law - section 8, or 9, Animal Welfare Act 2006 and see where your wrong un's are breaking it. Google it, will be on defra.

Match the bad behaviour to the bit in the Act that says it's wrong. Sounds obvious, it isn't. Finally, you will have made a case for presenting to the people who have to investigate ie local authorities and possibly charities.

I am used to reading laws and turning them into English so it's water off a duck's back for me, post away.

In the meantime I must carry on with the sodding charity. We were flooded today, lovely.

Paws has found the happy kitty blanket

Supersimkin2 · 03/11/2020 21:15

Little darling, you've transformed him into such a merry, happy, playful kitty. Sniff. Don't make my cry, I'm knackered as it is :)

Papergirl1968 · 03/11/2020 21:16

Lovely Paws! Glad he’s back - was slightly worried when you said he hadn’t been in all day.
Wouldn’t we all like to spend the winter lying on the radiator?!

QueenPaws · 03/11/2020 21:22

@Supersimkin2 don't cry, he's asleep! Shhh 🤫

coastergirl · 03/11/2020 21:55

Queen I was going to ask on fb, what's a happy kitty blanket?

QueenPaws · 03/11/2020 21:59

If you click the FB tag it takes you to it but it's basically a tea towel type material in a jar, and comes with a sachet of herbs (catnip etc)
So you keep it in the jar to scent it or can put small toys in too

coastergirl · 03/11/2020 22:10

Oh ok, my boys would love that. They go nuts for catnip. I just love Ollie's little face. He's so handsome.

Papergirl1968 · 03/11/2020 22:21

One of these nights he’s going to stay all night, Queen. Smile

You were saying? Grin

Papergirl1968 · 03/11/2020 22:31

Oh goodness, he is clearly so comfortable at yours that I don’t know why he goes back to his first family. Misguided loyalty maybe (a rare quality in a cat, I know!)

coastergirl · 03/11/2020 22:48

Maybe he doesn't go back to his first family? He might be one of those cats who likes to be out most of the time, but when he wants to be inside he goes home to Queen?

QueenPaws · 03/11/2020 22:53

Cats protection think he lives outdoors now

Papergirl1968 · 03/11/2020 23:02

Aww, Queen. Sad

QueenPaws · 03/11/2020 23:28

He's just left after 3hrs

coastergirl · 03/11/2020 23:47

So he lives with you but spends a lot of time outside. Bless him. I'm so glad he has you

swampytiggaa · 04/11/2020 04:15

Gomez isn’t too impressed at my getting up time 😂😂
