I wonder if he finds squatting in the tray hard? Does he wee in his tray?.

Supersimkin2 · 23/07/2020 20:13

Oh that is a brilliant idea. Jackson is my new non-feline crush.

Is Leroy a groomer? or is that another of DS' who-will-never-be-short-of-adoring-galz skills?

Supersimkin2 · 23/07/2020 20:18

Have set up Tray 2 on balcony. It has been inspected.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 23/07/2020 20:19

Leroy is currently overgrooming 🤦🏼‍♀️. Something is irritating him (other than his pesky hoomans) and I can't figure out what.

To be honest he's not really very good at it but then, like Captain, he's got so much fur... must be quite difficult.

Brushing him is something we all do, even DH. Who doesn't like cats. Liar liar pants on fire

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/07/2020 20:20

I saw one Jackson video where it was medical but they had to inject vit b12 at home.

It was an episode of my cat from hell where the owners are all nightmares as per usual.

QueenCT · 23/07/2020 20:33

@YesItsMeIDontCare ollie manages to avoid grooming everywhere else apart from ripping his belly hair out Hmm

Matt washes thoroughly. Socks on the other hand...well, it’s more of a cat lick!
I’m glad he gives you pleasure and company, Lana, even if he is incredible hard work.
Where’s Just? I’m wondering how feline relations are going?

swampytiggaa · 23/07/2020 20:44

I think I’m lucky in that the idiot sisters are good at grooming apart from the odd poo/long hair issue which is solved by scissors usually. They groom each other quite aggressively at times 😂😂

They are also good with the litter tray although Wednesday can’t work out how to cover her poo over 😭😭 but her sisters take pity on her and do it for her.

Justonedayatatime11 · 23/07/2020 20:53

Just is having a nervous breakdown over the fact she's foolishly agreed to take on a wonky legged kitten that was otherwise going to be put to sleep Hmm

Papergirl1968 · 23/07/2020 21:03

Just! Shock
That’s a wonderfully kind thing to do but am I right in thinking this would be number 14? And a Savannah or normal kitty?

Supersimkin2 · 23/07/2020 21:24

@Justonedayatatime11 that is LOVELY news.

Much better than me literally talking crap:)

Any visuals on the kitten?

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/07/2020 21:33

@swampytiggaa That’s very decent of them.

13 would be an unlucky number anyway.

swampytiggaa · 23/07/2020 21:36

Sons girlfriend’s cat has had kittens. I’ve had to be very firm that we aren’t having them. Although they are a pair of very cute ginger boys 💕

YesItsMeIDontCare · 23/07/2020 21:38

🌟

YesItsMeIDontCare · 23/07/2020 22:07

DH opened the wardrobe for Leroy. It's suspiciously quiet in there and I'm sure I can see a faint glow... he's coming back with Mr Tumnus isn't he. 🤦🏼‍♀️

🦁🧙🏻‍♀️🚪❄️

Justonedayatatime11 · 23/07/2020 22:27

She's a baby f2 Savannah. Effectively her back legs look far too long for her currently 8 week old body. The breeder admitted she took her to the vets and requested they put her down AngryAngry. Fortunately the vet said no as she can climb/run/jump and there's every possibility she'll grow into her legs. I am a sucker for a sob story. Yes I have Savannah's and my Suffolk's, but what I don't tend to let on is why I have them. They all have a story behind them, unfortunately mostly unpleasant, and with me they get to live their lives with plenty of space, love and fuss. Not shut in tiny little pens being used for breeding multiple times a year Sad. Sorry, shall get off my high horse now!

Papergirl1968 · 23/07/2020 22:47

Being suckers for a sob story is how we turned from a one cat household to a two cats and one dog household. Grin Not quite on your scale though!
When’s she coming?
And how is Namika?

Papergirl1968 · 23/07/2020 22:48

And how do the Savannahs and the Suffolks get on?

Justonedayatatime11 · 23/07/2020 23:36

Namika is pretty feisty. But she's found herself a comfy place where she can see out over the marshland and seems pretty content. Eating/using her litter tray, enjoyed her roast chicken last night.

Not for another 4 weeks as she's too young to leave her mum yet. I just feel physically sick at the thought of her being taken to the vets and being put to sleep. It's just wrong.

Hmm. The Savannah's and the Suffolk's don't really mix much, they tend to keep their distance. Bigger Suffolk hates all other animals, smaller one is much friendlier. Mostly they all rub along pretty well and there's enough space for them all to be happy!

Papergirl1968 · 23/07/2020 23:39

I just don’t know how you cope, trying to make sure they don’t eat each other’s food etc. I may have said this before but scooping the litter trays must be a full time job!
I’m so glad Namika is settling well. She won’t be the new kid on the block for long!

Justonedayatatime11 · 23/07/2020 23:44

It is a full time job in all honesty, and it certainly doesn't pay the bills! I'm fortunate that DH goes along with my cat obsessed madness, despite being hugely allergic. That said I did hear him in the kitchen earlier this evening with 'his' Savannah draped round his neck crooning to her that she's his baby GrinGrin

Supersimkin2 · 24/07/2020 00:01

Grin DH is a hero among men Grin

coastergirl · 24/07/2020 00:41

Just you are a hero! Please give us lots of photos

swampytiggaa · 24/07/2020 06:36

Oh god Just I feel a bit weepy! Those cats are so lucky to have found you 💕

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/07/2020 07:37

Breeders are one of life’s necessary evils but my god they are cold as ice.
