Out of all the places to be sick, Matt chose to throw up over a Happy Birthday mummy card I’d got for dd from dgd! Hmm

Papergirl1968 · 01/10/2020 14:37

Her birthday was in August so I should have put it away but honestly!
He was also extremely sick in the hall last night straight after gobbling some chicken so I think he ate too fast. This morning’s on the card was mainly grass.

QueenOllie · 01/10/2020 15:28

Just sent some brownies to the vets, my friend has a brownie company and they're gorgeous so figured it's a nice thank you!

Supersimkin2 · 01/10/2020 19:15

Hairball - DD dodged a bullet there.

I bet the vets love you to bits.

TheLongRider · 02/10/2020 08:50

Nemo and Hobbes send best wishes to all.

Nemo is a very handsome young man. They are lovely Grin

Ollie doesn't think I should work today

Papergirl1968 · 02/10/2020 14:18

Quite right. You should give up all attempts and snuggle him instead.

Papergirl1968 · 02/10/2020 14:35

After all he’s had a very traumatic week!

YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/10/2020 14:41

It’s wonderful to see him looking so demanding!

TheSilveryPussycat · 02/10/2020 16:07

Speaking of cards, here's one from DD to me. It's the DCat we used to have.

That’s a fabulous pic, Silvery. Was it drawn from a photo?

TheSilveryPussycat · 02/10/2020 21:50

Isn't it just! Yes, from a photo.

Supersimkin2 · 03/10/2020 09:13

How is The Prince this am? Are you decompressing @QueenOllie? Sending vibes for a deeply cuddly weekend.

QueenOllie · 03/10/2020 11:21

He's very happily annoying Paws, they're both playing with a giant box Confused and springing in and out of it. Although Ollie just climbed on top of it and nearly squashed Poor Paws

YetAnotherSpartacus · 03/10/2020 12:13

Darling Ollie - I do hope he continues to improve! When is his next appointment at the V.E.T?

QueenOllie · 03/10/2020 12:22

He doesn't have to go back unless he's unwell Smile but he needs flea/worm/steroids in a couple of months, they said to leave both until he's had some recovery time. He can't yank his tummy fur out as he's got none GrinGrin

Papergirl1968 · 03/10/2020 22:31

Someone (glares accusingly at Matt and Venus) has done a huge poo in my bedroom. Pretty sure it is one of the cats and not the dog.
We are also struggling to get rid of blasted fleas. A trip to the vet which I can’t really afford is required, I think.
On a happier note, with Christmas on the horizon I spotted these cat gifts in a newspaper. I really like the DJ deck scratcher!

Oops, Matt and Socks, I mean. Pretty sure the culprit is not Venus the dog.

QueenOllie · 03/10/2020 23:16

I like the scratcher too! Paws is asleep on the litter tray rubber mat Hmm after being dried off (pouring down here)

Papergirl1968 · 04/10/2020 11:02

Got up to find one of the cats had done a wee over the side of the litter tray for the second day running, presumably because there was a big poo in the middle of the litter tray.
And then noticed the dog had done a HUGE poo and wee on the floor in the night. Which followed a huge wee yesterday when we went to visit dd2 in her newly refurbished accommodation! Blush

Supersimkin2 · 04/10/2020 20:20

Oh Sympathies @Papergirl1968. It's always after a megaday, isn't it.

Papergirl1968 · 04/10/2020 20:50

The dog has now been sick! Only a bit luckily! Envy (not envy!)

Papergirl1968 · 04/10/2020 21:24

These pets are trying my patience today!
Naughty Socks loves the garage and has been in it all day, with the door from the garage into the kitchen open so she can get to her food, water and litter tray. It makes the house cold though so every time she ventured out, I tried to shut the door but she’d dart back in again as soon as I approached.
Eventually tempted her out with Dreamies and used a belt to pull the door shut from a distance.
Ha! I feel disproportionately proud of myself for outwitting her!
