That all sounds a bit complicated to me, but I know you will make the best decision for Ollie.

I never realised that vets were so expensive!

QueenOllie · 29/09/2020 13:41

Everything will be in his best interest. I think the issue is if they do the biopsy and then say oh well he needs surgery, there will be no money left for it! The alternative is to leave the biopsy and see how he gets on

YetAnotherSpartacus · 29/09/2020 13:45

Sounds like a hard decision Flowers.

Take care.

Are there any vets on here who could advise?

Papergirl1968 · 29/09/2020 14:01

Thank goodness you have insurance. I don’t and I’m also broke right now so praying the pets stay well.

Supersimkin2 · 29/09/2020 16:21

Worry about the cash if it comes to it. The best news is it's not lymphoma.

QueenOllie · 29/09/2020 16:40

He's been such a good boy, eaten dry food again, made the staff cuddle him and doesn't even have a cone on for his cannula

nettie434 · 29/09/2020 17:59

No advice to offer that could help with your decisions, I'm afraid. It's good news that Ollie's eating and has clearly (inevitably) charmed the staff.

Supersimkin2 · 29/09/2020 18:36

He is doing very well, isn't he.

QueenOllie · 29/09/2020 19:40

At least he's home for now. Can you arrange a payment plan with the vet when the insurance money runs out?

nettie434 · 29/09/2020 19:56

Oh Ollie! You are such a brave cat. Those eyes are so expressive!

QueenOllie · 29/09/2020 19:59

We've had a discussion and going to chat further tomorrow but they are tempted not to biopsy for now as he's improving and treat him off the symptoms
He's SO happy to be home

Queen you could start a new thread specifically about the situation with Ollie.

Sending warm wishes to you both.

Supersimkin2 · 29/09/2020 20:34

why not seek the advice of TCN?

Oh darling Ollie and darling Mama, he's sooooo over the moon. Have a gorgeous evening you two.

Guiltypleasures001 · 29/09/2020 20:56

Just showed his little face to dh
Very pleased he's home and hope the scrummy lad goes from strength to strength Queen

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 29/09/2020 20:58

I'm so glad he's home and Harry and I have paws and fingers crossed he carries on improving

QueenOllie · 29/09/2020 20:59

He's eaten a full pouch and is swinging off the windowsill Hmm

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 29/09/2020 21:12

Oh bless him! I'm sure they do things to deliberately worry us.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 29/09/2020 21:29

Oh those gorgeous big eyes!!!

swampytiggaa · 29/09/2020 21:55

He’s so gorgeous 💕

TheSilveryPussycat · 29/09/2020 23:18

So sweet!

BTW have just changed back to Silvery to minimise possible confusion with Pink.

QueenOllie · 30/09/2020 07:10

Ollie says good morning. An he has eaten all his food, has a drink and a wee so no more VET please mama. He's also slept on my bed all night, woke up to him gazing at me with his head on my arm

nettie434 · 30/09/2020 08:34

Lovely news QueenOllie!

QueenOllie · 30/09/2020 08:39

Here he is with his shaved bits. The other side is shaved too Grin and both his legs. Not many cats that would put up with that dangling off their leg, he's not even tried to lick it
