Be thankful it's grass snakes - my Godmother lost her beloved Yorkie to an adder in Dorset. I gather you get a few round your way as well Sad

I'm cooking a casserole and thought I'd give Leroy a little piece of raw beef. Then a large piece. Then I had to remove him from the worktop. Then I had to remove him from the kitchen.

It was probably not the wisest thing I've ever done. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Supersimkin2 · 02/09/2020 20:21

Grin Glad to hear despite the you-know-what Leroy's verve and spirit remains undimmed.

Fridays grocery shop; the braising steak doesn’t make it to the fridge.

He's confused at his own feelings, but he trusts you @QueenPaws. Hopelessly lovely pic.

TheSparklyPussycat · 03/09/2020 22:17

I had a lovely afternoon drinking iced latte in our newly opened local cat cafe Smile

Now that's a proper destination eaterie. How lovely.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 04/09/2020 12:37

@TheSparklyPussycat - I love our local Cat Cafe!

How was it? Are you allowed to fuss the cats at the moment? Did you have your bags checked on your way out? 😂

swampytiggaa · 04/09/2020 20:38

My daughter (16 years old 😭😭) is off to college to do animal care. It involves staying on site 3 nights a week. We’ve collected her stuff together but I think we are going to have to check for stowaways...

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/09/2020 20:43

That’s a move me if you dare look!. Why do they have to stay on site though?.

Supersimkin2 · 04/09/2020 21:38

Someone's got themselves a place at that college to do DD care.

swampytiggaa · 04/09/2020 21:40

College is 65 miles away. It’s in south Devon we are in north Devon. No real transport links between so not a lot of choices.

I reckon because they will have animals on site at the college, so someone needs to be there to look after them?
Allergictoironing · 04/09/2020 21:46

Ah X-post!

I am in Girlcat's bad books again. I decided I needed a decent bedroom rug to sink my toes into when I get out of bed, and treated myself to a gorgeously soft, large, wolf tip sheepskin that was on sale. It's gorgeous, and sooo soft on my toesies. Boycat will now walk over it to get to Dreamies with no problem. Girlcat leaps over it as high as she can, with a mixed look of horror and disgust.

Bear in mind they both happily sleep on the sheepskin rugs that lie over the back of the sofa....

Supersimkin2 · 04/09/2020 22:39

She'll kip on it when you've passed out later. :) Is your recovery going ok Allergic?

QueenPaws · 04/09/2020 22:49

@swampytiggaa I went to agricultural college and lived on site at 16 Smile was fab

Whenever I see an Ollie pic I burst into ABC's The Look of Love.

Yippy ai yippy ai ayayay

Allergictoironing · 04/09/2020 23:08

It's been down days now, she still won't touch it lol.

Recovery going well yes. Had my pre op assessment for my 3rd (and hopefully final for a bit!) unrelated issue on Wednesday, so 6 days after the nerve block. Suddenly realised I'd walked the length of the large hospital without having to stop to stretch or rest my back, then thought back to the night before & remembered I'd changed the litter tray & put all the rubbish out without having to take a break Smile.

OK not as dramatic an improvement as last time, condition has probably deteriorated over the last couple of years anyway, but well worth the time, effort & pain of having it done all the same. Will be a happy bunny if they can improve my shoulder as well now Grin

swampytiggaa · 05/09/2020 18:41

Wednesday showing off her floof. Reckon she’d make a lovely hat 🎩

Supersimkin2 · 05/09/2020 20:30

When it gets colder she'll kip on your head and you can try her on :)

QueenPaws · 05/09/2020 21:36

Paws has had breakfast, lunch and tea today. Ollie has been scampering about across the road in the maze of hedges/bushes having a great time

Supersimkin2 · 05/09/2020 21:48

Ma Bush: the sequel! Yay.

QueenPaws · 05/09/2020 22:04

Ma bush bites back...
