Called Mikey that was supposed to say.

Queen I'm loving the Facebook posts.
@swampytiggaa An outdoor cat by choice or one they just aren’t interested in looking after?. How many cats actually choose to live outside in a country that has winters like ours?.

Did they sell her kittens?.
Just allowed to roam. Don’t think the mom is interested in her tbh. Yes the kittens are sold but I don’t think momcat is spayed yet. She’s younger than my 3. I feel really sorry for the cat but I’m not having her here. It’s not fair on any of them.

Supersimkin2 · 20/08/2020 08:32

Cats and horses usually get on Grin

@TheLongRiderI had the best time of my life in Dublin, it does city better than anywhere else, and I love Joyce, see, felt properly steeped. You are so lucky to be near the Liffey and the sea. Funny thing is, if you came to London as a Dickens fan you'd be amazed at how everything he describes is still here, but with Joyce most of it's under a layer of 20th cent.

Rory! Yes!! Two votes please!!

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/08/2020 08:34

The thing is, they’re probably going to abandon her when they move & she’ll have no food, shelter and will get pg again.

She needs help.

Papergirl1968 · 20/08/2020 09:01

I love Dublin too.

Supersimkin2 · 20/08/2020 09:07

@swampytiggaa PM @thecatneuterer, she'll tell you what to do to save kitty.

QueenCT · 20/08/2020 09:21

Paws has just come in, looked at the empty food bowl and then sat staring at me
Yes, I got up and filled it for him Blush

I’m waiting to talk to the girlfriend about it before I get too involved. I have enough going on without taking on problems I don’t need to iyswim. If she is going to be abandoned then I will do my best to help without taking her in But I’m waiting to see if it’s just them trying to guilt trip me first.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 20/08/2020 09:40

Awesome new baby LongRider, another vote for Rory.

Good luck swampy hope you can resolve this for the poor cat.

And DS has passed all his GCSEs so I'm feeling rather chuffed, and more importantly - so is he 😁.

Supersimkin2 · 20/08/2020 10:00

Smart move @swampytiggaa. I suspected the same :)

Supersimkin2 · 20/08/2020 10:03

@YesItsMeIDontCare Massive Well Done for DS. He is a young man of skill and talent, as Leroy would agree.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 20/08/2020 10:12

Leroy would certainly say he's highly skilled at playing "Killa". "Killa" involves well padded arms (DS), teeth (Leroy), claws (Leroy) and frequently Sudacrem (DS).

Supersimkin2 · 20/08/2020 10:19

Grade 9, the both of them.

swampytiggaa · 20/08/2020 10:39

My Victoria has achieved a good set of GCSEs today 😁 and it’s my smallests birthday too!

Plus I put my notice in at the charity shop yesterday so an eventful week altogether 😁

TheLongRider · 20/08/2020 11:17

Congratulations to all on their GCSE results.

All Irish human names have been vetoed. The problem with living in Ireland is that we know too many people with the real name!

His purr is like the idling engine of a tractor. He doesn't stop unless he's completely asleep. He had a good night, no crying. He loves being permanently attached to a human. He sat on me for an hour this morning and he's currently asleep on DD for the last hour.

Nothing much wrong in his world.

Papergirl1968 · 20/08/2020 11:41

Well done, DCs!
That kitten is just adorable! Storm?

Supersimkin2 · 20/08/2020 12:54

The kitten is meant to have surname Long, he luffs you already.

Maybe he should be DD's personal kitten? He clearly loves her to bits.

Capn, not to be outdone by a mere kitten, is lying flat on his back with x4 legs bolt upright in an attempt to look helpless and adorable. He now weighs 17lb with paws the size of a human hand. You can see the orange tummy from space.

I'll get the Dreamies out tho'.

Well done @swampytiggaa DD - a fine achievement. Oh God I wish I could leave the charity shop Grin Grin Grin

swampytiggaa · 20/08/2020 12:59

I’m going to Morrisons. More money less responsibility.

Supersimkin2 · 20/08/2020 17:33

Good on ya. Less backache too, I bet.

swampytiggaa · 20/08/2020 18:55

Cleaner for sure 🙂

BTW apparently the cat has been moved over to the new house along with the other animals. Hopefully that’s the last I’ll hear about it.

Congratulations and happy birthday to your daughters respectively, Swampy. Will you be pleased to leave the shop or is it the least worst option?
nettie434 · 20/08/2020 19:40

Pressed too soon - another vote for Rory. He looks lovely and he was lucky you were walking by, TheLongRider.

nettie434 · 20/08/2020 19:43

And congrats to your son YesItsMeIDontCare. I really admire everyone who has had to cope with exams this year - they have really not had it easy.

nettie434 · 20/08/2020 19:50

I have missed a whole page - glad you have a new job with less hassle Swampy. I can see how Rory might not be the best choice, TheLongRider. Rufus means redheaded - Latin origin I think, not Irish anyway.

TheLongRider · 20/08/2020 19:54

I think we're going with Nemo, he was nobody's cat until we found him.

He's been glued to the lap of a human for most of the day.
