New thread!
I’ve found two so much more hard work (and expensive) than one, Queen

I'm allergic to sugar soap - come out in a hot rash all over & have breathing difficulties. I think my DF somehow thought I was like that on purpose, to get out of helping him decorate, but he couldn't deny the rash and the Darth Vader impressions.

Just searched ingrown toenail removers on Amazon - it looked like a medieval torture catalogue! Mine doesn't currently do big thick browths, it just decides to get regular infections. 2 weeks antibiotics, and that entire toe is still a darker hue than the rest of my foot.

Supersimkin2 · 27/04/2020 20:51

Ooh, look at those bad boys Grin You'll hear the shriek when I'm done, see it as a thank you.

Supersimkin2 · 27/04/2020 20:52

Sorry to all for lowering the tone - and thanks to Fluffy for acting as a lockdown medical consultant of note Grin

ClientQ · 27/04/2020 20:56

I bought a microplane foot file. Ollie watched me horrified as reams of dry skin fell off Grin

Papergirl1968 · 27/04/2020 21:36

Those are similar to mine, Fluffy.

Aww, Lana! Looks like Cap’n Valentine enjoyed his play.

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/04/2020 13:59

Has he ever had a toy mouse before? It’s amazing how their instincts tell them what to do isn’t it? We have no hunting skills left.

Allergictoironing · 28/04/2020 14:17

Ah well reminded. The Molly mice have been put way for a few days, time to get them out methinks!

I am in achey heaven. My chiro broke lockdown rules to give me a treatment (both theoretically on 12 week isolation). I know really REALLY ache, but have the knowledge that I will be able to sleep now and feel sooo much better by tomorrow.

Supersimkin2 · 28/04/2020 14:41

First Mouse. Cap'n' made friends with it, prior to sucking it.

When it comes to hunting skills, my primordial brain was pre-programmed millennia ago for yellow sticker.

ClientQ · 28/04/2020 15:25

Ollie has helpfully developed a limp
Extra points for mid pandemic and the one day the vet is closed Hmm

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/04/2020 16:51

I wonder why they livk them? Asbo would dribble all over his.

How bad is the limp?

Supersimkin2 · 28/04/2020 18:56

Which leg? Last time it healed overnight, don't worry Queen. Give it till the morning.

That mouse has been licked to death. Or drowned. Luckily there is a spare.

ClientQ · 28/04/2020 19:13

Having had a good prod, it's his back leg possibly hip however he's scuffed all his back claws so it looks like a VET trip

Supersimkin2 · 28/04/2020 20:11

My Diagnosis: pulled leg muscle having missed a skid down a wall (Dr Lana, MD (failed)).

Can you trim the claws - they grow like mad at this time of year anyway.

M&S has started selling Dreamies. Now that's customer power in action - Capn V wrote to them while I was asleep the other day.

ClientQ · 28/04/2020 20:13

Can't trim them - he's lost them all Blush literally stumps left
I've sent the video and pics of his claws to vet nurse friend who thinks he's either been scrapping with another cat LIMPY or been clipped by a car

Papergirl1968 · 28/04/2020 20:32

Oh blimey, poor Ollie Sad

swampytiggaa · 28/04/2020 20:49

Oh poor Ollie 😢 hope he’s better soon

ClientQ · 28/04/2020 20:54

I'm not rushing him to out of hours because he's behaving perfectly normally, eating, demanding OUT NOW MAMA and happy. Plus the OOH are awful so would rather hold off

Supersimkin2 · 28/04/2020 20:55

Oh no, sweethearts, tsk. Limpy's a bugger. How is he in himself?

I've shamelessly copied your cottage pie and Capn V is bouncing round the kitchen like a very large, very enervated, orange pompom.

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/04/2020 21:00

Can Ollie use his tray ok?.

ClientQ · 28/04/2020 21:01

He obviously wants a sample
In himself? Being a pain in the backside as usual Grin he's having a nap but isn't hiding away or anything

ClientQ · 28/04/2020 21:01

@Fluffycloudland77 saw him use it this morning so he's had a wee Smile

nettie434 · 28/04/2020 21:32

Oh poor Ollie! That Limpy looked as if he liked a scrap but some drivers are definitely using the reduced volume of traffic to speed.

I made cottage pie too ClientQ Supersimkin2. I must be very suggestible. I was going to make lasagne but there were a lot of potatoes in the veg box so it was good to use them up.
