I've only been out for an hour and come back to find Cap'n 's found a new love on the internet.

How did he get to you so fast?

ClientQ · 25/04/2020 14:29

Capn V looks very regal there, on his red velvet throne!

ClientQ · 26/04/2020 23:25

Do these look like flea bites or midges?
Only on my arms Confused none anywhere else
Ollie and Paws both religiously done with bravecto

Supersimkin2 · 26/04/2020 23:42

I'm saying midges. And you're allergic to them too. Anthisan.

Did you cuddle that floofy? The only place you could have got flea is on your lower arms or legs if so, to be honest.

ClientQ · 26/04/2020 23:46

No cuddling the floofy Grin
It's my upper arms it's on mostly, a couple on lower arms
I take 4 antihistamines anyway so fairly well covered there!

Supersimkin2 · 27/04/2020 08:56

You've had a bastard mosquito while asleep. And his annoying little friend. Slap anthisan on the arms to stop the itch, they'll be vanished in day or so.

nettie434 · 27/04/2020 09:06

I’d vote mosquito too ClientQueen. Mosquitos find me deeply and utterly desirable (shame I am not a mosquito too) and the bites do look similar. It happens more in the hot weather too.

Allergictoironing · 27/04/2020 09:15

Mozzie/gnat bites IMO. They adore me too, DBro used to love it when I went for a walk with him because they would ignore him completely in favour of me. Father was the same, mozzie magnet.

Papergirl1968 · 27/04/2020 09:21

They are definitely bites and not a rash?

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/04/2020 10:16

A local cats been in and sprayed our back door. I think it’s the black cat with a yellow collar I saw this morning next door.

I tried clicking my tongue at him so he ran off like I was a cat murderer.

ClientQ · 27/04/2020 10:50

@Papergirl1968 oh yeah definitely bites little fuckers

Papergirl1968 · 27/04/2020 11:01

That’s good because I was just reading on another thread that a rash is linked to coronavirus.

OP posts:
ClientQ · 27/04/2020 11:11

No danger of that, I've been home shielding since mid March Grin

Papergirl1968 · 27/04/2020 12:13

At least you have Ollie and Paws for company Smile

He's doing laps to raise NHS money. I'm in!

Just rung the podiatrist to beg for appt (glamour) as huge T Rex claw on big toe has sprouted again. They offered me a phone consultation. Grin Now @Fluffycloudland77 where can I source what they use, and I'll DIY. Looks like garden shears but a bit bigger.

Papergirl1968 · 27/04/2020 16:49

I had to get some heavy duty ones for tough, thick toe nails. Can’t remember where from but think it was Boots or Superdrug. They look like secateurs but they work!

Papergirl1968 · 27/04/2020 17:23

Thank goodness I managed to get some facial hair remover today so I no longer have a beard to go with my claws! Grin

I’d file it personally. You can buy diamond deb files. Hold the file flat on the nail like you would use a nail buffer and file it down. Use it dry.

There’s no risk of an ingrowing nail then & you can get a lot of nail off that way. Don’t be too gentle either, nails are tough and can take it.

If it bleeds you went too far.

I have sugar soaped a double bedroom. Tomorrow is painting. Wednesday is nursing a sore back.

Supersimkin2 · 27/04/2020 18:33

Sugar soaped?!*$! SO IMPRESSED.

It's great stuff, seems a shame to paint over it.

What colour?

Supersimkin2 · 27/04/2020 18:35

I can't file, it's the ingrowing one about 6mm down. I need a small miner, a very small budgie and a lamp for starters. What do I use to hack the beast out?
