I discovered a new comfort food tonight. Fatty, greasy, over processed... Asda now do what they call "cheeseburgers" in the freezer section - 2 beefburgers with burger cheese sandwiched between. Stick them in the oven so minimal prep time leaving maximum Girlcat cuddling time.

Now feeling slightly unwell as I cooked and ate 2 . Yes I have grossly unhealthy eating habits, but it's the only vice I have left in my dotage (apart from crap TV). Don't smoke any more, alcohol & Voltarol really don't mix well so don't drink, gave up on men a few years ago as they aren't worth the hassle.

Lush Allergic Li'l bit of what you fancy does you good.

I made Nigella's Meatzza for dinner. Needed a bit more time for the flavours to blend but pretty good nonetheless.

Sorry I've been a bit awol. I just read back in an attempt to reply, but have had after-work wine in the sun and promptly forgot it all! Re berties ear though, it is an old injury from before he was rescued. Still no sign of him.

Well I've just cooked a job lot of chicken for pasta bake and my first attempt at a beef dopiaza.

Leroy does not like raw chicken or raw beef 🤷🏼‍♀️.

I happen to be at home today instead of work because my IBS went crazy. Half an hour ago the landline rang and I didn't get to it in time. 1471 and googled the number. It's the vets. Called them back and they aren't sure who rang me. I'm waiting for them to call back again.

Sat on the sofa shaking. Walter is safe asleep on my little boy's bed, so it's not to do with him.

Either amazing news or the worst news, but the waiting is awful.

Oh coastergirl, how awful to be put through that for nothing. I know what you mean about wanting some definite information, even if the news is bad. I suppose that, having once been a stray, Bertie’s survival skills are probably quite good. Fingers and toes crossed that you find him.

Thanks for all your thoughts. I'm on meds for anxiety anyway and was off work today with IBS, then this happened and I've not been so anxious for years. It carried on all day but I'm feeling a bit better now. Probably the wine. I want my boy back.

On a lighter note, Walt was very confused by the clapping tonight.

Well today is DS's 16th birthday. What a year for a "big" birthday 🤦🏼‍♀️. He's taking it rather well tbh.

My brother's 50th a couple of weeks ago was just as exciting!

Leroy wants to tell Walt that the hoomans are clapping for cats because cats are awesome.
