New thread!
I’ve found two so much more hard work (and expensive) than one, Queen

Coaster, I think the not knowing is the worst. Every day I hope for good news.

@Papergirl1968 thank you. Your thoughts mean a lot. I may go for a little walk now with some dreamies. Baby is screaming though so it depends if his dad can settle him. He usually sleeps through.

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/04/2020 08:27

Could you send a flyer to all the vets in the area in the post?.

I was thinking last night how uncommon it is for cats to be missing an ear tip. If someone’s taken him in and he needs vet treatment or prescription flea treatments it might spark a memory if the vets practice is aware a b&w with a missing ear tip is lost.

Especially if the person bringing him in doesn’t know how he came to be missing an ear tip and assume it’s an injury. I only found out about ear tipping on here.

@Allergictoironing, nothing wrong with say yes to the dress. Some of the mothers are such cows telling their daughters they look fat though when they’ve come out feeling all pretty. I could slap some of them.

Allergictoironing · 20/04/2020 09:07

It's Curvy Brides Boutique I like the best, very good for the larger ladies.

I'm shocked at the number of mothers who insist on what they want, rather than what the bride wants. Other entertainments are the brides who say they want something "classy" & keep going for dresses that make them look like a cross between a showgirl and a prostitute.

Cats don't care what I watch. They prefer me watching live TV (not using live pause) or BBC stuff, so I don't need to use one hand to fast forward through the ads rather than fondle them.

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/04/2020 09:17

One woman’s classy is another’s showgirl 😀.

Best one was a girl who took against her bespoke $25k dress, ordered another one the same price and her parents were paying for it. She was such a pita I bet they were glad her dh was taking them off their hands.

She’d wanted see through material on the boob area, didn’t seem to join the dots that her nipples would be seen then.

Kitchen ceiling fell down last night. Capn V got a mood on because a workman dared enter this am before Breakfast II was served. Had to be picked up (cat not painter) and did the Embarassment ie flailed, punched and wailed in manner of Tragic Abuse Victim.

Supersimkin2 · 20/04/2020 10:16

Sulk.

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/04/2020 10:23

Oh my lord, have they fixed it?. That’s some serious side eye he’s giving you there.

nettie434 · 20/04/2020 10:25

Kitchen ceiling fell down last night.

Assuming you and Cap’n V were nowhere near Supersimkin2.

Liking the ideas for bad TV watching!

Allergictoironing · 20/04/2020 10:51

Poor delicate little darling, I do hope his sensitive fragile nerves weren't shattered. He's clearly in need of comfort food and treats to return to calm.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 20/04/2020 11:36

He's putting it on...

Supersimkin2 · 20/04/2020 11:44

I have just proudly showed an emergency workman my homemade ladder that gets me & the dulux onto the kitchen ceiling. He left without comment.

3 min later the agent rang to say despite lockdown a team of four decorators arrives at 8am tomorrow.

Rude Grin

Papergirl1968 · 20/04/2020 11:52

Blimey, Lana, it could only happen to you! Grin
I’m glad it’s getting sorted.

I just received a letter saying I'm at risk! Only thing I can think of is that I used to occasionally get (comparatively mild) asthma in the past, but not since I stopped doing any sport & haven't had any inhalers for over 10 years. The letter specifies "severe asthma" - never been hospitalised with it, never bed ridden, never had an attack lasting more than about 20 mins.

Kitties would love it if I didn't go out for 12 weeks, but would be a pita for my poor DSis having to do my shopping. In fact, she has moral objections to Asda which is where I get my prescriptions from and normally shop myself.

AIBU to sort of ignore what seems to be an over reaction by NHS? Hmm

YesItsMeIDontCare · 20/04/2020 13:04

I've got very, very mild asthma - where's my letter?

Not that I want priority shopping, but I'd like something to justify having a nap when DH is cleaning the kitchen.

Do you have a picture of your ladder Super? How rude of him to not comment positively on your skillz.

Supersimkin2 · 20/04/2020 15:45

It is dismantled Sad as I am clearing the kitchen for the team.

But I sneaked in a quick coat of the hall ceiling and cornices before the so-called professionals get here Grin

Supersimkin2 · 20/04/2020 16:54

Honking

swampytiggaa · 21/04/2020 13:34

Just wanted to share a picture of idiot Morticia showing off her fluffy fat tummy 😭😭

Allergictoironing · 21/04/2020 14:05

I love the way she's coyly covering her "bits" Grin.

How can you be near that floofy tummy without burying your face in it?

swampytiggaa · 21/04/2020 14:07

I did afterwards 😁 just thought she looked so funny I couldn’t resist! Plus it shows how good tempered she is 💕

Supersimkin2 · 21/04/2020 14:29

Fudgetastic gorgeous gal.

ClientQ · 21/04/2020 18:36

Supersimkin2 · 21/04/2020 19:10

Niiiice. Next lockdown I know where I'll be stuck, sadly unable to travel home for some weeks.

Best ever excuse for getting takeaway tonight: the kitchen's now optic white and so bright I can't go in Grin
