New thread!
I’ve found two so much more hard work (and expensive) than one, Queen

Ollie is currently stalking the window as Limpy is back and they had a fight. He's being very "let me AT him"
And no, the last thing I need is another bloody cat

Supersimkin2 · 13/04/2020 22:03

Ollie and Paws are keeping you quite busy enough. How's the gourmet freezer going? Have you got any food delivered yet?

ClientQ · 13/04/2020 22:19

I have a slot for the 19th Smile
Today was pasta bake out the freezer, I don't remember making it but I must have done Grin
Ollie disappointed it wasn't potato, paws just wanted to feast out the bin
Hoping to do a pasta bake to freeze as the one I ate was the last. Thinking pasta, ham, passata, onion, sweetcorn, garlic and cheese

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/04/2020 06:24

Is limpy still limping?.

ClientQ · 14/04/2020 10:14

Not limping yet but if it carries on scrapping it's no bloody wonder it had a limp for so long!

Supersimkin2 · 14/04/2020 10:54

Slaver, niiiice. I am over-invested in your freezer skillz.

Have you ever tried savoury bread-and-butter pudding? Ham and emmental (ie Jarslberg or anything with holes) instead of sugar and raisins.

I've mastered the art of the crunchy topping for pies, always the best bit. Mash and breadcrumbs and cheese and butter. Artistic fork work to fluff.

ClientQ · 14/04/2020 11:33

Ooh I haven't! I do have a spare bag of ready salted crisps which I might chuck on the pasta bake
I'm also attempting to make bread....

Supersimkin2 · 14/04/2020 12:36

yesss... put some nuts in and it is superfood.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 14/04/2020 12:47

I do have a spare bag of ready salted crisps

I DO wish you had not said that...

Allergictoironing · 14/04/2020 13:57

My dear departed DF used to make rusks from the heels of stale bread by putting them in the bottom of the oven until they were dried out completely, then crush them (rolling pin & paper bag method). Makes an amazing topping for shepherd's pie, especially mixed with grated cheese Grin

Papergirl1968 · 14/04/2020 14:28

Waste of good crisps!
I’ve just rescued Matt from the middle of the road, which he thought was an ideal spot to lie down and roll over Hmm

Waste of good crisps!

Absolutely. Give them to me instead along with Ollie

MATT! NAUGHTY!

Papergirl1968 · 14/04/2020 15:04

Very naughty, Spartacus!
Now snuggled up to dd looking like butter wouldn’t melt.

Supersimkin2 · 14/04/2020 15:56

Matt terrible cute. Did you firmly carry him back to the house in full view of the street? Might put him off.

That breadcrumb topping is going straight on my to-do list. I whizz up knackered old bread with the soup blender but DF's method looks like the route to crunchy paradise.

Papergirl1968 · 14/04/2020 17:26

Of course Lana, I carried him inside in disgrace, hoping all his mates were watching and laughing Smile

Papergirl1968 · 14/04/2020 18:39

So much for shaming him, little sod has just done it again, although in the gutter this time not the middle of the road.

Got the cat leads today. Took them outside. They refused to move.

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/04/2020 19:23

There’s a Bengal on YouTube called boomer, his owners an animal trainer who has done a video on lead training a cat.

Supersimkin2 · 14/04/2020 19:30

Matt is entertaining the nation. So are yours Swampy

Papergirl1968 · 14/04/2020 19:44

Look at those magnificent tails on Swampy’s cats!

swampytiggaa · 14/04/2020 19:49

I have holes in my legs from their claws 😭😭 at least it got the kids into the garden for a while

ClientQ · 14/04/2020 20:27

One giant pasta bake

Paws, Ollie, Captain V and all the rest
Supersimkin2 · 14/04/2020 21:06

I like that more than any cat. DELICIOUS.

The very sight of that golden crunchy comfort has cheered me up more than is ladylike.

ClientQ · 14/04/2020 21:09

I had to resist the urge to eat all the melted crunchy cheese Grin
Ollie's verdict "not potato mama. Rubbish"

Supersimkin2 · 14/04/2020 21:32

Double the quantity of cheese, it's the only way.

Fluffy you omitted to mention the series little Boomer hosts is called 'Thug Life'.
