New thread!
I’ve found two so much more hard work (and expensive) than one, Queen

ClientQ · 10/04/2020 11:10

He is not helpful in me getting a photo but this is where it is

YesItsMeIDontCare · 10/04/2020 11:13

Ouch! Is that likely to need vee ee tee assistance or is it just a surface scrape?

ClientQ · 10/04/2020 11:17

Looks pretty superficial so I'll just keep an eye on it Smile daft cat

Supersimkin2 · 10/04/2020 11:25

Ow! Caught in a fence I reckon. Poor baby, mended soon.

TheLongRider · 10/04/2020 12:58

Girlcat did something similar a few months back. She's not easy to handle at all but she let me clean her up. I kept an eye on it and she didn't overwash the wound. It healed fine but took over a month. She now has white hairs growing through her black fur where the wound was.

Ollie should be ok.

ClientQ · 10/04/2020 13:03

He's busy screaming at me as usual so seems fine HmmGrin

For those who liked the Christian kitty, you might like this

It’s not as good as one I found a while back where the cat alighted the minbar, but it’s pretty good.

coastergirl · 10/04/2020 20:22

I love that last video.

I'm grumpy. I'm doing my best in my ridiculous circumstances to find Bertie. The women from the rescue I got him from think I'm not doing enough.

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/04/2020 20:27

You’ll never satisfy someone who works in cat rescue, they’ve got a higher bar than us.

You’ve done what you can in the circumstances. Lots of people move and have no intention of taking the cat with them.

Supersimkin2 · 10/04/2020 20:45

@coastergirl some of these rescue types can be a bit fanatical.

Of course you are, and I bet she can't suggest anything else. You can't hide in the garden of a house you no longer occupy 24/7, the others would starve to death.

Supersimkin2 · 10/04/2020 20:50

Loving cat of Islam. Bet the imam has to come in with pouches.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 10/04/2020 22:27

Doesn't matter who you are, where you're from, what you do... you always do "the tail thing" when you stroke a cat!

Papergirl1968 · 11/04/2020 19:18

Anyone else’s cat got wanderlust? Matt has been out all day, missed his lunch which is unheard of, and no sign of him all afternoon despite repeated calls.
Then he strolled in for tea, guzzled it down, and demanded to be let out again.
Socks on the other hand barely eats anything and refuses to go further than the open door, peering nervously into the garden as if it’s full of growling dogs 🤷🏼‍♀️

YesItsMeIDontCare · 11/04/2020 21:16

Leroy's doing the opposite. Spent both his "walks" lounging around at the front of the house. Went across to the grass bank for a poo and came straight back again. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Supersimkin2 · 11/04/2020 21:18

Matt in love?

Capn V is resting on the balcony. Gratifying, as I bust a gut earlier this week removing and replacing 200 kg of compost from all the pots, scrubbed the walls and floors and planted 150 bulbs.

It has met with approval. I am not allowed on it now.

Papergirl1968 · 11/04/2020 21:47

Could be, Lana. I swear if he could take a picnic so he didn’t have to come home at all he would.
Your balcony will look lovely when those bulbs bloom! And the way things are looking, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy it!

coastergirl · 11/04/2020 22:15

Thanks for all the reassurance re the rescue people. So no sign of Bertie.

Supersimkin2 · 11/04/2020 22:30

Taking a moment to envision Matt The Suitor in his handsome coat and glorious striped breeches strutting along a blossoming spring path, whistling and swinging a wicker basket, ready to meet his lady love.

No female could resist.

Try not to worry @coastergirl.

nettie434 · 11/04/2020 22:31

Oh that’s sad coastergoal. Will keep fingers crossed. Hope tomorrow is the day you find him.

Papergirl1968 · 11/04/2020 22:40

Coaster, I’m sorry, every day I hope for good news.
I’ve been worried about Matt today as he’s rarely out for more than an hour or two, so can’t imagine how you feel.
Lana he is rather bald along one side at the moment which gives him a rather...hmm...distinctive appearance. I also fear he has fleas. But yes, he does have a certain manly swagger which some lady cats may like Smile

OP posts:
Supersimkin2 · 11/04/2020 23:48

Ladeez luv a bit of rough. And remember, fleas or no fleas, there's that beauteous belly...

Dbro, who offended me vilely the other day by referring to me as Sybil Fawlty while we were thrashing out some particularly horrible eldercare, texted me to say Capn was so gorgeous he 'should be a cat model'.

Little bastard knows how to get back on the Christmas card list Grin

ClientQ · 12/04/2020 01:12

Ollie has wanderlust too. Or something. He is currently screaming at the window while I tell him black void cats do not play out at 1am Hmm
Here he is earlier when he was silent for fiver minutes

Paws, Ollie, Captain V and all the rest
Fluffycloudland77 · 12/04/2020 06:30

Oh Coaster, we are all hoping for good news for him. We all want you reunited with him.

Papergirl1968 · 12/04/2020 09:33

Sybil Fawlty is an awesome comparison, Lana.
And Capn would make a terrific model. He is indeed a beautiful boy.
I’m getting shouted at a lot too, Queen.
Standing in the back garden wearing just a rather short nightie and shaking a bag of Dreamies is not my idea of a fun Saturday night!
