Ollie is being contrary

Aww sorry to hear that Fluffy, I saw it on the news.
I felt near enough normal this weekend. Then took a meal down to my mom, who is about to turn 87 and has dementia - so my sisters and I are caring for her.
I only saw her yesterday for the first time in two and a bit weeks and tonight while I was there I started feeling ropey again. Cue a very dodgy stomach when I got home.
It might not be continuing coronavirus as my diabetes tablets do upset my stomach but I’m now thinking I need to isolate for another few days just in case

Any sort of luck would be welcome here. I can only access the app atm though. I still can't find Bert. Been trying lots of things, local fb groups on it etc. No sign at all. I have a very bad feeling.

Have brought Walter to the new house tonight though. He's taking it all in his stride.

I thought Bertie would be difficult, do they neighbours know him?.

We had to leave an ex feral on her own for 6 days once, she was very pleased to see us. We left food with a neighbour but she wouldn’t eat it.

@coastergirl I'll send you all my luck telepathically. It's horrible when a cat goes missing. I really hope he turns up soon.

I don't really know the neighbours. I've left his food bowl and an old dressing gown outside that him and Walter like to sleep on. Going to call local vets tomorrow. He is microchipped.

I have so much regret over how I've done this move. I should have moved the cats first and kept them safe in a bedroom. I see that now. 😢

Look on the positives, less people around, less cars on the road and I don’t think he’s the type to go to strangers?.

He couldn't have picked a better time to do a disappearing act, that's for sure.

Sitting here in an explosion in a teddy factory - grooming, a cloud of orange fluff envelops me and Capn V. Will put it out for the birds to feather their nests.

Remember the worlds clingiest cat Ollie disappeared without a trace and came back 8 days later

I had no idea Ollie went missing. No sign of Bertie. I can't stand the thought of him out there alone. 😢

@coastergirl I had a whole thread on here, I searched and searched and didn't sleep, I was hysterical with worry
Day 8 he pitches up at the window mid morning with a few twigs stuck to him and a look of "oops"
Seems he was stuck somewhere and he lost about half a kg and dislocated his hip but he came back, and was frantic for weeks after every time I opened a window

Anything on Facebook?. Don’t give up hope.

It's just awful isn't it? I've got posts on Facebook. He's microchipped. Mum has rung around vets. I've walked the streets with the dreamies and tuna several times. There's an old dressing gown that him and Walter used to sleep on and I've put it in the garden at the old house with his food bowl. I really miss him. 😢

This is Flo, she is one year old today, an excuse for a badly needed celebration.
