New boy cat arrives on Friday, a one-year old tabby boy currently under the moniker of "Bobby". I don't have a proper picture yet.

One Paws. One Ollie. One bed

Aww, so sweet! Paws seems to be keeping a wary eye on Ollie who is oblivious.

I've whacked the heating up, Ollie is purring and Paws is fast asleep. He has a lump on his head and a cut to his neck (not from Ollie) so I've just messaged my rescue helper

Aww, poor Paws.
Any idea where he goes on these cold nights? Does he have a proper home, do you think?

Paws needs to stay in tonight. Two cats, one human, one bed.

Aww, that’s sad. I really hope he gets used to the peace and quiet of yours and stays.
We don’t have a cat flap either but I’m up and down to the door every few minutes on cold nights till Matt is in. On summer nights when he occasionally hasn’t come back by the time I go to bed, I’ve set an alarm for the early hours to wake up and let him in.

I don't have one but Ollie comes running (to the neighbours amusement) if I bellow "OLLIEEEE" so if I am out, he is inside

Matt comes when called too (if he feels like it!)
I just watched a video of the Pussycat Dolls on X Factor and asked Socks if she’d like to join them as given her antics of the last few days she could give them a run for their money when it comes to
writhing and howling 😂

She thinks she's had a chest infection for the past few days, cough and all the other bits.

But she can't get air in properly. She's struggling, breathing really shallow and wheezy

Good luck, it's this year's fashionable flu. She'll be fine, but she'll need to take it easy for a while. What a horrible shock for you all.

Meanwhile, I think we have the Litter Tray's Christmas play, "The Taming of the Paws". The eternal story of one woman's attempt to save a savage beast. Starring Ollie as Petruchio and Paws as Katherine.

No pneumonia. She's majorly anaemic. She got a blood transfusion. Waiting for a bed and then tests as to why. Cola was NOT impressed I went out.
