I am so behind, I didn't even know the lovely Mr C died. I'm so sorry Supersimkin2. BTW Harry has told me to tell you that Little K is right, 7 breakfasts can never be enough!

Fluffy, I can understand how your husband feels. I remember when Harry broke his jaw and I was so angry. I actually decided one of our new neighbours had obviously kicked him (with hindsight I think the vet did it removing his teeth) but luckily DH is calmer than me. The neighbours were actually lovely and I felt awful for thinking it.

I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through but I know from your posts that your boy had an amazing life with you.

ClientListQueen · 20/11/2019 09:03

I get it completely. When my horse died I cried and cried and then it turned to rage and then back to tears and so on for quite a long time
Go easy on yourself Thanks

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/11/2019 09:08

Still a mess.

Plan for today;

Stop crying.
Go to work, complete work in record time.
Send all the photos & videos from Dh iPad to my iPad.
Start photo book. It’s going to be thicker than our wedding album.
Copy videos to dvd. One copy to be kept at mil in metal box. Another in our safe. Upload videos to new email address.
Investigate large canvas photo prices.

Dh said he felt the cats presence at work yesterday. Dh is not woo either. He wasn’t thinking about him, he was tagging keys up for storage.

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 20/11/2019 09:30

I had a portrait of Harry done by a lovely lady on Etsy - www.etsy.com/uk/shop/JESillustrations

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/11/2019 09:52

Thank you for that link Pink, I’m using Etsy for the paw print pendant.

I want one that sits at heart level so need to get my pendant out dh got me years ago to measure up.

At work now.

ClientListQueen · 20/11/2019 11:07

Pro trade printing did my canvas and they're excellent (owner is a photographer)
Once upon a time app for photo book

Papergirl1968 · 20/11/2019 11:58

Fluffy, my dad was the least woo person in the world, and he felt our Siamese jump on the bed for several nights after he died. I myself was putting on my makeup one day, not thinking about him at that particular moment, when I heard a miaow inside the house. I like to think he popped back to say goodbye, and just letting us know he was ok.
Funnily enough a few weeks after my dad died I was washing the car so going in and out with buckets of water when I noticed a strong orange smell. It wasn’t the car wash stuff, the front door was open, no explanation for it on a winter’s day, and after a few minutes it went. That was my dad, I think.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 20/11/2019 13:04

Oh jeez... I've only just seen this 😢

Fluffy I am so so sorry. Take comfort in the fact that he had the best life a cat could have. 💐

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/11/2019 13:13

Thank you Yes, I am trying to get over it but it’s so hard. He had a good life.

We were both under the paw.

Supersimkin2 · 20/11/2019 13:36

You must be feeling awful. Stop trying to be normal for at least a month. Bloody well done on going to work tho', it might start to help after a bit.

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/11/2019 16:22

I’ve ordered this www.etsy.com/uk/listing/646606206/paw-print-necklace-actual-paw-print-pet?ref=shop_home_active_20&crt=1

His paw on the front, name on back. Solid silver.

I shan’t be telling dh how much it cost. I’ll wear it everyday, it should sit on my heart but if it doesn’t I’ll get a different chain.

Supersimkin2 · 20/11/2019 17:36

It's absolutely lovely. His paw holding your heart, forever.

You can get silver chains made to length by some bloke on ebay. Let me know if you need one and I will ask, one has to make sure the clasp they use fits through the loop on the paw.

PotterHead1985 · 20/11/2019 19:45

Oh god I've been off for a few days sick. I am so sorry Fluffy. Rest now sweet Asbo. We will miss you.

Apologies. I came on her to say that Cola PotterHead has arrived! An hour in and she's happy as Larry and I have a hole in my neck!!
She did hiss at the dogs so she's getting very slow intros there.

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/11/2019 19:47

Thank you.

She’s a beautiful girl, Cola is a fab name for a cat. What sort of dog is it?.

PotterHead1985 · 20/11/2019 20:30

One is a Yorkie/scotty the other a cairn

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/11/2019 20:36

Terriers can be a bit excitable. Is she eating well?.

PotterHead1985 · 20/11/2019 20:38

She's flying. When she's not with them she's not a bother on her. Met two of the cats already (Jade is out) and not a bother on her. They've sniffed but are a little cautious as you expect. I've a hole in my neck already. Complete accident on her part. Her purrs melt my heart.

Supersimkin2 · 20/11/2019 20:41

Cola is lovely. I know this type of enthusiasm is sacrilege in these hallowed portals but ooh, cairn terriers - the huge Disney eyes and all that tufty blond fur.

Apologies for the sentimental lapse, all.

PotterHead1985 · 20/11/2019 20:44

@Supersimkin2 hi

PotterHead1985 · 20/11/2019 20:46

Oops it won't let me Sad

Supersimkin2 · 20/11/2019 23:01

Tinkly feather was produced at 845pm.

Little K has pranced, pounced, and rolled. Grin

We're still going. I need Gin

Supersimkin2 · 20/11/2019 23:26

@Fluffycloudland77 you might find TLT threads useful as a Diary of Asbo.

Might be a little bit too soon, but in time you will find a treasure trove of on-the-spot memories a-plenty.

I don't want to look at Mr C's entries as 99 per cent doubtless read 'Fangy fat cat still avail. for rehoming'. We shall draw a veil over the time I tried to post him to Cozie.

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/11/2019 06:39

That is a genius idea, absolute genius.

I can print them all out to keep. I tried to get Cozie to take Asbo too but she wasn’t up for it! 😹. No idea why.

Supersimkin2 · 21/11/2019 07:31

@cozietoesie one smart lady Grin

The kitten's already had one breakfast and now wants services 2-7. Seems to like getting up at 545, so I get up at well, you know. Only finished tinkly feather at midnight.

Courage, mon brave, for work today. I made a podiatrist appointment with The Clapham Slasher again and I said, how delightful, no waiting list. He said 'yes, we're not overrun with demands for our services. The council has put a new bus stop right outside my surgical room!!' Funny, that.

This is an order: take a multivit, rest, green tea and don't go anywhere near anyone with a cold. You're having a hell of a time so reinforce basic security measures. Eat as much as possible.

Better go, am getting evil gold stares for typing and not serving.

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 21/11/2019 09:32

I haven't seen cozietoesie for a long time, is she OK?

Supersimkin2 how very dare you ignore your feline overlord (or lady, I'm very behind on this!)
