So a friend of mine runs a completely not for profit TNR. Doesn't have charity status etc cos of the size of her operation. Anyway she has a rake of cuties and I'm going to pick one of these two 😍

Gosh their young, too young to be separated Wink

PotterHead1985 · 13/11/2019 19:12

@Fluffycloudland77 they are actually 10 weeks already. They had to be hand reared as a dog killed their mam

YesItsMeIDontCare · 13/11/2019 19:24

they are actually 10 weeks already.

Still too young to be separated 🤭

PotterHead1985 · 13/11/2019 19:28

Separated from whom exactly? I'm going to take over where my friend leaves off in rearing them

Supersimkin2 · 13/11/2019 20:12

Have they no mum? They are teeeny.

ClientListQueen · 13/11/2019 20:35

dog killed their mam

Their mother is dead

PotterHead1985 · 13/11/2019 21:06

Nope. A dog killed their mum so they have been hand reared since before their eyes opened. So I am going to take over earlier than they'd normally go to a home because she has since had more kittens from another mum killed by the same dog.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 13/11/2019 21:35

Separated from whom exactly?

From each other! We're just trying to persuade you to have both itty bitty pretty kitties!

PotterHead1985 · 13/11/2019 22:15

@YesItsMeIDontCare oh god. I'm so tired I didn't cop that at all but it makes SOOO much sense now!!!

I wish I could. I've three adult cats, 2 dogs and a geriatric mother. I doubt I could persuade her to accept two kitties!!!

Papergirl1968 · 13/11/2019 22:25

Love the name Demelza, and she’s very cute.
Socks likes to cuddle up under my chin too. Like a warm fluffy scarf!

swampytiggaa · 14/11/2019 09:16

I’m sure I read that a pair of kittens is much easier for older cats to cope with than a single as the kittens play and fight with each other rather than the older cats 😈

I took on 3 together and they are amazing together. So glad I didn’t leave one behind 💕

Foxton20 · 14/11/2019 09:41

I wish I had took two. We only have one and I feel like I’m constantly having to play and attention her. I’m guessing it’s the same as twins, easier with two because they can play together 😂

Supersimkin2 · 14/11/2019 10:52

Me: Good Morning Darling!
LK: HISSSSSS AngryAngryAngry
Me: it's A Brand New Day!!
LK: HISSSSS AngryAngry
Me: What does Little K want for his first breakfast?
LK: ......? Hmm
Me: Here'a little piece of roast chicken for the lovely kitten.
LK: :)

YetAnotherSpartacus · 14/11/2019 11:13

The way to a kitten's heart ... :)

powkin · 14/11/2019 11:18

@Foxton20 we have one cat and he’s soooo needy. At dinner time (for humans) he’s at his most irritating and wanting to play, and basically spends 30 minutes trying to murder me by standing behind me, following me, walking between my legs. I get so grumpy with him! However, he’s very timid around other cats, not necessarily scared of them but almost literally lets them walk all over them. We have him as at my friends house he was getting attacked by a local cat and she couldn’t afford the vets bills and so was going to rehome him. I took pity but feel like she sold me a dodgy second hand cat (“oh yeah, he does that super annoying thing I didn’t tell you about”). The only plus is free cat sitter whenever we need! In summer it’s a stream of cats coming in to eat his food whilst he sits and watches them do it! I can never tell if he likes the company of other cats or if he’s too scared to get rid of them and therefore I should do it for him. The amount of cat psychology I end up doing is ridiculous!

ClientListQueen · 14/11/2019 16:02

I feel your pain with the dodgy second hand cat. I can't work out if Ollie is terrified of other cats or he's actually the aggressive one Confused
He's definitely defective

coastergirl · 14/11/2019 16:17

Mine are plotting to murder me, I'm sure of it.

Walter is constantly under my feet. I keep tripping over him while he gazes at me, gormlessly.

Bertie (black cat) keeps lying on the (dark brown) stairs carpet, in the dark, so I can't see him. I've no idea how I didn't fall down the full flight of stairs this morning.

ClientListQueen · 14/11/2019 17:21

Ollie last night napped on my lap "I so snoozy. So comfy"
The minute I went to bed and my head touched the pillow "MAMA I FOUND A BALL AN IT HAS A BELL"
Me HmmHmmHmm

Supersimkin2 · 14/11/2019 17:51

We have had a chicken picnic on the floor. Little K has now hidden under the sofa, next to the dip where my petite derriere (massive arse) has made a dent (broken the springs).

I daren't move in case my bum crushes him Grin. Can I make a public announcement? I forked out a fortune for this smart orange sofa and it's fallen to bits in 3 years. I'm not that sodding fat and neither was Mr C.

Made.com., stop your bodyshaming ways.

Sounds like mine. Snoozy all evening, either on the sofa or on the bed. Mana goes to bed and we do the usual rituals (involving Dreamies & cuddles). They wait until the light goes out, give it 5 more minutes, then GALLOPY GALLOPY UP & DOWN THE STAIRS CHASING EACH OTHER. How the HELL can a cat be so loud??? At least 15 minutes every night, up to half an hour.
