That's a mental petcare image I won't be losing anytime soon.

Mr C had about 500 kittens before we met. Like Byron, he'd moved on emotionally to the more sedate of life's pleasures ie gastronomy and meditation (on gastronomy).

ClientListQueen · 18/10/2019 15:42

I still think Ollie was living with his girlfriend and their kitten. Mum was ginger and white, kitten was a strange mix of ginger, white and black...

Supersimkin2 · 19/10/2019 08:39

I know things must still be raw for you, but might one enquire after the health of Fred and Ginge?

There can't be any rats left over your way if Ginge has had her way.

ClientListQueen · 19/10/2019 11:05

They are v well Smile lots of napping in the loft in the barn (we store rugs up there so loads of cosy places) and lots of mice catching. More Binge than Fred

ClientListQueen · 19/10/2019 18:56

Someone MUNCH just clambered on the windowsill and banged on the window HmmShock

Brainiac as well as keen to experiment with new foods and locations. He's an asset/

ClientListQueen · 19/10/2019 23:43

I gave him a hot water bottle and I've created a monster Grin

Supersimkin2 · 20/10/2019 08:44

That pic could sell a million winter heating aids.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 20/10/2019 10:27

It will sell one more at least because Queen will need one for herself now.

ClientListQueen · 20/10/2019 21:28

O just whacked Paws. He came in and Ollie was crying whining away in the corner so Paws (being nice) "what's up Ollie, I'm here now"
Ollie glared at him so Paws walked off and Ollie smacked him on the bum as he walked away BlushBlushBlushBlush

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/10/2019 21:54

Is Ollie secretly a badass?.

ClientListQueen · 20/10/2019 22:20

He doesn't seem to know how to be with other cats Grin I'm not sure if he was smacking paws for walking away or just existing Confused
I do point out you can't make friends if you approach them like you're going to kill them

Supersimkin2 · 21/10/2019 09:22

Have they kipped together yet?

ClientListQueen · 21/10/2019 12:55

Hahaha. No Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/10/2019 21:08

Found you.

Supersimkin2 · 21/10/2019 21:39

We've come back to life!

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/10/2019 07:50

I knew I’d forgotten to do his tray last night so he’s pissed on the hob again. We’re fitting a stair cladding system to the stairs and I’m dog tired. 4 days in and we’ve got the up rights fitted.

Most used phrases at the moment;

If he wees on this I’m re-homing him.
Can’t you do anything to shut him up?.
Why is he making that noise

ClientListQueen · 22/10/2019 21:07

Da bird v Ollie and Munch. I'll pop a video on his FB Grin

Hope asbo's toilette went slightly better today. DIY protest, in all senses.

Bet the new stairs will be superb. They must be agony to fit though, all that hauling while doubled up.

I'm eating seafood sticks. Mr C didn't like them so I used to turn my nose up too, but I'm currently 3/4 of the way through a family packet.

Supersimkin2 · 24/10/2019 20:57

I have finally discovered my spirit animal.

I’m sure miaowing burns calories though, she’ll be slim in no time.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 25/10/2019 18:42

Oh no! Poor kitty!

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/10/2019 18:48

She’s very good considering she’s sitting in a warm puddle with something moving underneath her paws.

Papergirl1968 · 25/10/2019 22:01

Help, lovely ladies of the litter tray, I need some advice.
I can’t fill Socks up. Every time I go in the kitchen she comes for food.
So far today she and Matt have shared two pouches and a small tin (Gourmet) of cat food, plus had a slice of turkey each (from a packet), a few Dreamies each, and will have a handful of dried food to go to bed. Plus Socks had a treat stick.
Doesn’t that sound an awful lot for a five month old? Or am I just forgetting how many calories a growing kitten needs? To be fair a sachet isn’t much between the pair of them, and I probably give Matt just over half.
Socks even Hoovered up the crumbs from my toast but I don’t know if she’s genuinely hungry or it’s just habit or how she learned to survive - we don’t know much about time with her “birth family” but we don’t think mum and kittens were very well cared for and that she was only about six weeks when she left her mum.
She’s far from overweight - she’s long and thin, unlike Matt who was a big chunky kitten who is now a very big cat!
