Yes Babe, it's entirely up to you that they're developing such a fine friendship, hope you're very smug. They're proper mates - nothing like a best friend round the corner.

YesQueen · 07/10/2019 21:21

I'm not sure friendship was the look Ollie did when he was woken up BlushGrin

Emotional honesty is precious to us all Grin

Socks has found a bit of broccoli on the kitchen floor and is amusing herself by carrying it around, throwing it up in the air, and parting it. She just went to throw it up in the air, not realising it had caught on one of her claws, and sat gazing skywards clearly wondering where the hell it had gone!
Despite having lots of proper toys, the broccoli joins her other favourite amusements like a peg, trainers that she likes to push and drag around, and her own tail Confused

Paper May I recommend this book. The unexpected kitten's best friend is a raisin. I'm not one for laughing at books but this made me do proper snorty laffs.

Looks good, Weezol. It's my birthday in a few weeks and I can never think of what to ask for so you've given me an idea

YesQueen · 08/10/2019 18:00

My Dnephew locked DSIL out of the house aged 2, she was left stark naked in the street. In Feb. Finally someone walked past and when she shot up from behind the bins to beg for help, the man shrieked and ran off.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 09/10/2019 09:29

What on earth was she doing outside of the house starkers to begin with?

Fluffycloudland77 · 09/10/2019 10:06

I saw our neighbour go to his car to look for something in his pants.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 09/10/2019 10:31

I read that as you were spying on watching your neighbour go to his car to look for something hidden in his pants.

Fluffycloudland77 · 09/10/2019 12:23

I was looking for the cat. Honest.

Allergictoironing · 09/10/2019 12:43

Girlcat has developed a new habit. Best thing in the world for her (when she's in the mood) is stretching out & having belly rubs, preferably with one hand doing head scritching at the same time. Now I'm used to her kneading me with her cute little front paws, and I'm used to her sort of bracing herself with her back legs pushing against me. What WAS new the last couple of times has been that she was very slightly kneading with all 4 paws!

Never heard of a cat kneading with their back paws before? Confused Very cute though...

Supersimkin2 · 09/10/2019 14:39

DNephew had opened the front door and run out himself, tricking her. He shot back in and slammed the door shut.

Oh Girlcat, that is so very dear. A new habit. Involving your time, entire dedication and efforts, of course.

Yeah, right Fluffy. Since when did 'looking for the cat' mean 'fraternising with near-naked men'? Was asbo suspected of being wedged in the neighbour's Y-fronts?

coastergirl · 09/10/2019 22:03

Walter is so dignified...

Paws has jumped in and looked confused at Ollie snoring again. Got right up close and peered at him and then whacked him on the head
Ollie AngryAngryAngryConfusedConfusedHmmHmm "I was SLEEPING"

ClientListQueen · 11/10/2019 01:01

Someone OLIVER just woke me up. Zooming up and down the hallway with a ball (with a bell in) and using my bedroom door as a starting block for speed. I opened the door and he froze with the bell hooked on his claw like "hi mama, just rescuing this" Hmm

Good girl Socks. Walter is surveying his territory from atop the neighbour's shed and Bertie is enjoying the sunshine.

Sunshine??? All we have here in Kent is dark grey skies interspersed with a few lighter grey spells, then torrential rain for a bit.

coastergirl · 12/10/2019 15:25

Yeah, it's not been a bad day here in Southport. Windy though.

ClientListQueen · 13/10/2019 00:07

Ollie would like to announce he put up living with his human for FOUR whole years today Smile
