Monochrome Magic, this season's purrfect style solution.

Justonedayatatime11 · 05/10/2019 22:40

I have a newbie. Oops. Unfortunately I now have 2 who are identical twins and I've spent the evening confusing myself trying to work out which is which Grin

Would that be the Dirty Dozen? Someone is very, very lucky.

coastergirl · 05/10/2019 23:28

@Justonedayatatime11 Those ears are enormous!

Justonedayatatime11 · 05/10/2019 23:49

Super are you referring to me or the cat? Grin the ears are spectacular, I'm hoping she may grow into them...

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/10/2019 07:25

😮

How did that happen?. Does your oh come home every night praying there’s no new cats? 😀

Also, why is my Bengal defective in his approach to me having more than one cat?.

Justonedayatatime11 · 06/10/2019 09:14

Fluffy given that my poor DH is massively allergic, yes he does!
I'm quite fortunate that they (mostly) all get on, apart from my grumpy Siamese and my little deaf white cat it's pretty harmonious!

YetAnotherSpartacus · 06/10/2019 09:16

What breed is the newbie? With ears like that it looks like a marsupial cat! I'd expect it to hop and have a pouch!

Justonedayatatime11 · 06/10/2019 09:38

Yet she's a chocolate Suffolk. They are massive ears.... and she's very very vocal!

YetAnotherSpartacus · 06/10/2019 09:41

A new breed to me! I hope that your refrigerator door is super quiet ...:)

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/10/2019 09:49

My dh is allergic too. He’s on two inhalers now.

I blame the smoking though.......

YetAnotherSpartacus · 06/10/2019 10:01

If the inhalers are corticosteroid based then make sure he takes calcium supplements and Vit D and has his bone density checked. Bitter experience and all that ...

Supersimkin2 · 06/10/2019 11:11

My friend's teacup chihuahua may be pregnant.

What is unclear about the statement 'I am a cat person'?

Where is the ambiguity of 'I haven't got room for 6 puppies'?

My friend screamed 'If you get them all, you'll cheer up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

Never has a MNetter more keenly needed the result of POAS.

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/10/2019 11:17

More like crack up under a mound of puppy pads!.

Allergictoironing · 06/10/2019 12:24

A teacup chihuahua??? Couldn't get more diametrically opposite to the late lamented Mr C really! No brains, ridiculously excitable, dogs can't be house trained like a cat to use a litter tray (or plant pot), not as soft & cuddly in bed....

Tell her you are waiting until the time is right, and are going to look at elderly cats when you feel up to it. Whether you intend to or not, that MAY shut her up about the puppies.

Supersimkin2 · 06/10/2019 16:45

Thanks, fine fighting talk Grin

Allergictoironing · 06/10/2019 17:30

Saying all that, my Godmother's chihuahua (normal sized) was a fine ratter and used to flush out bigger game like rabbits for the German Shepherds (who usually failed to catch them). But he WAS brought up on a farm, and treated the same as the bigger dogs there Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/10/2019 21:01

Spookily I was buying dh vit d when you posted that Spartacus.

I wouldn’t want a dog, you have to go outside & stuff.

Supersimkin2 · 06/10/2019 21:26

Me neither. I like a challenge in relationships.

Supersimkin2 · 06/10/2019 21:27

The ratting chihuahua - hero Grin

Allergictoironing · 07/10/2019 07:24

They had a permanently lame Pomeranian who would help with the flushing out too Grin

Supersimkin2 · 07/10/2019 08:51

That's more than a touch impressive Grin

And incredibly sweet, brings a tear to the eye, sniff.

The chihuahua, poss pregnant, was shop manager yesterday. Smaller than a kitten. Steely eyes tho'

Severe sweetness.
