Oh the burning hot coffee is a must!

YesItsMeIDontCare · 30/08/2019 20:17

Big hugs and nose-boops • for Mr C, and all the other puddlies.

YesQueen · 30/08/2019 20:55

I can recommend the M&S Meatzza. Clean plates here. Ollie enjoyed it Grin

Supersimkin · 30/08/2019 21:14

You've come over to the M&S Dark Side!! Gor lumme madam, them meatzzas is laaavly.

Hint: if you baulk at paying a fiver again, it takes about 2 min to make one. Thump a pack of mince flat, dollop dolmio and cheese on top. Oven as before.

Litter Tray poll: do you think whisky and card is sufficient thanks, or should I put petrol money in the card as I want to.

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/08/2019 21:21

I think whisky is enough really.

Supersimkin · 30/08/2019 21:52

Thanks Fluffy. Is Irish single grain acceptable? It was on offer. I expect Dh would know, not you of course.

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/08/2019 21:58

Too late to change it now without looking like you have issues with alcohol.

Free alcohol always tastes good.

Supersimkin · 30/08/2019 22:11

You are wise Fluffy. How is asbo tonight?

Fluffycloudland77 · 31/08/2019 06:53

The same. Asbo doesn’t change.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 31/08/2019 08:32

Asbo is a good boy.

Mr C looks glad to be home.
And how was lovely Nurse Lee?

Weezol · 31/08/2019 11:02

Hurray! Delighted.

I think ASBO is a consistent boy. Quite unlike this one.

Weezolcat and her fanciful flights of feeling is the mistress of feminine mystique.

Fluffycloudland77 · 31/08/2019 11:35

What is MrC giving you side eye for?. Is it for the tinned cat food?.

Papergirl1968 · 31/08/2019 12:13

I’ve fallen in love with Socks. I’d forgotten how funny kittens are, how all the world is a wonder to them and the most everyday things become toys.
It’s also lovely to see her coming out of her shell. She was such a nervy little thing and while she’s still skittish, she’s gaining in confidence every day.
She’s such a dainty little thing, totally unlike Matt, who even as a kitten was pretty solid! And he was much more confident than her. He walked in like he owned the place, looked around as if to say “this’ll do nicely,” ate like a pig and fell asleep. Whereas Socks barely emerged from under the bed for the first few days.
I’ve thrown dd1 out for aggression towards me, and told her I’m keeping Socks, at least until she has somewhere to live and can show she can look after her.

Fluffycloudland77 · 31/08/2019 12:27

Oh dear, at least you saved the cat. Life’s going to be a struggle for her isn’t it?.

Papergirl1968 · 31/08/2019 14:22

Who, dd1? Yes, she makes life so difficult for herself. She’s trying to get her baby back from foster care, but came at me swearing and calling me every name under the sun, and with a raised fist, in front of a social worker. Plus missed contact with her daughter because she didn’t want to catch two buses.
I’ve struggled with her for ten years, and I’m at the end of my tether.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 31/08/2019 14:25

Papergirl Flowers

YetAnotherSpartacus · 31/08/2019 14:26

Mr C is definitely giving someone the stink eye.

How is Nurse Lee?

Papergirl1968 · 31/08/2019 14:47

Thank u, Spartacus.
Yes, come on, Lana, don’t leave us in suspense. Did you ceremoniously present the whisky?

Fluffycloudland77 · 31/08/2019 15:01

Did you do the “I got you this” “ooh I can’t take that”, “no I insist” routine?.

Kinda traditional.

Weezol · 31/08/2019 15:24

Papergirl1968 There does come a point where you just can't help someone any more. BrewCake

Papergirl1968 · 31/08/2019 15:35

I know. She’s just turned 18 so she’s got to be responsible for herself now. Not that I would normally advocate kicking a teenager out just because they’ve technically reached adulthood but she’s hurt me physically and emotionally too many tines. And funnily enough, Weezol, I’ve just eaten a huge piece of very nice coffee cake. Smile
