I have Cakedar, distance no object.

Fluffycloudland77 · 31/08/2019 17:21

Asbo has butterdar. But only for Lurpak full fat.

Supersimkin · 31/08/2019 17:21

Paper you've done your best, love. Like it or not, you can't grow up for someone else. Socks is lovely.

Nurse Lee and Mr C arrived at crack of dawn. Nurse Lee accepted the whisky and yelled give me a hug Grin

He refused to take any money and said he was in a hurry - he was, he told me that yesterday. He was wearing a vest. Bloody Nora that man is FIT. He is a total hero.

Will have the bacon and sausages I purchased for seduction purposes for supper a deux, admittedly Mr C will be my date. Mr C is weak as a kitten and mostly asleep. He has licked my finger, though, it had pate on it.

Allergictoironing · 31/08/2019 17:51

Bacon & sausages sounds like the perfect invalid food to me, to get the poor innocent little kitten's strength back up. Bless him, he did look a bit sorry in that last photo.

Supersimkin · 31/08/2019 19:15

He looks rough as hell. He is covered in bald patches where they put the lines in - asked to be babywiped to get fur clumps & hosp smell off. Now on me dreaming and ticcing madly, purrs when patted. I can't move for hours.

Weezol · 31/08/2019 20:32

Ah, UTI cuddles. Poor lad - I was going to say poor you too, then thought about Nurse Lee in a VEST and got distracted.

YesQueen · 31/08/2019 22:44

Lots of cuddles for Mr C. Ollie recommends the tea he is currently enjoying - boiled eggs with a bit of butter all mashed up it was my supper

Weezol · 31/08/2019 22:46

Boiled eggs are definitely invalid food.

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/09/2019 07:12

I NEED my second coffee and to put the washing out but he’s all snuggly.

You NEED to be served coffee in bed and tend to tiny delicate asbo.

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/09/2019 09:50

I went to fetch coffee & put washing out. I put his fleece over him which was the final straw and he stomped off.

How’s the patient today?.

Supersimkin · 01/09/2019 14:26

He has eaten well. And refused his pills, which are numerous.

We have only just woken up again after a little post-breakfast nap.

Papergirl1968 · 01/09/2019 18:10

Socks says, “Ugh, Matt, your feet STINK!” 🙀

Asbo behaved in the lounge today, no trying to scratch the sofa, no jumping on the glass table to get to the window. Nothing. Curled up on the floor and slept for nearly two hours. Even let my niece fuss him.

Of course now they think we’re cruel owners who don’t let the sweet innocent cat into the lounge because we’re awful.

He’s gaslighting them.

Little beggar went back to mugging me for pouches & yelling his head off when they left.

Supersimkin · 01/09/2019 19:51

Oh Paper that is the sweetest pic in the whole world ever.

Shameless as ever Fluffy. Show DN little eye opener

Supersimkin · 01/09/2019 20:16

Convalescence using the fabled Yellow sticker technique.

You should patent it!.

Weezol · 01/09/2019 20:32

Paper Aren't all big brothers a bit stinky?

Super I think it's time you wrote a guide to Mr C. I'm sure Nurse Lee would provide a cover endorsement.

Fluffy When I chucked XH out I realised that the only thing I missed about him was the brew he made every morning. He was easily replaced by a 200ml thermos for milk and a six quid travel kettle on the now spare bedside unit.

Supersimkin · 01/09/2019 21:39

Mr C's paws smell of leather and hay, I bet Matt is equally fragrant. Anyhow, as Socks's DF & Head of The Family Matt is beyond criticism.

Just served another massive meal. It was a cat pate, so it won't find favour.

Weezol I find robovac is the best DH substitute on the market today. It does 80 per cent of the job while you strain to hear the telly over the moaning and thumping. But don't you wish they sold a coffemade not a teasmade?

Papergirl1968 · 01/09/2019 22:03

Looks like the yellow sticker food is going down well, Lana.
Matt’s paws are delicious, although I try not to think of where they’ve been. Dd2 was kissing Socks’ little feet last night, even when I pointed out they’d been in the litter tray. And dd opened her mouth and she’d got the cutest little white teeth!

Papergirl1968 · 01/09/2019 22:04

Cats are better than men - no contest!

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/09/2019 07:14

I need a “scraping cat food 3ft up a wall” robot. How does he manage to get it up walls?.

Supersimkin · 02/09/2019 08:43

Why does it stick better than superglue? It's infuriating trying to hack it off, only a fingernail will do.

asbo's enjoying his food, little love that he is. That portrait of him smiling is just fudgesome innocence embodied.

The cat pate went in its entirety. Yay. I may try and scab the day off work as I'm still not sure I want to leave Mr C to his own devices - might just pop in for an hour or two to keep show on the road.

YesQueen · 02/09/2019 11:12

Ollie demanded cuddles after 10 mins of zoomies exhausted him

Papergirl1968 · 02/09/2019 11:27

They should understand, Lana.
You could always say you don’t feel well yourself. I’m sure that after the stress of the last few days, you probably don’t feel 100 per cent so it’s not a lie.
