Guilty I 'slept' with Mr C on my back all night. It is already 32 degrees here. He slapped my bum with his tail periodically, trying to wake me for a meal.

I would change places. Grin

Cool mat is GENIUS. We're on damp towels here, work a treat. Rinse in cold water and spin, straight on the pillow/sofa/floor, fan on, lovelyyyy.

Mr C won't take his pills for love nor money, so I've booked him in for injections next week, and will return to reviewing double-reduced sandwiches shortly after that.

Cool mat was just from Amazon. It's a "medium" but Leroy is a big 6.1kg bugger (weighed at vee-ee-tee-ess this morning).

DS was using it earlier too Hmm.

Ollie decided hugging me was the best place ConfusedConfusedConfused

Remember that you can still send huggy Oliie to me if you object ...

Supersimpkin · 25/07/2019 12:17

Massive shit on the bed. Massive.

I feel Mr C may have misinterpreted heatwave advice 'the elderly should stay indoors'. Angry

YesQueen · 25/07/2019 12:17

@YetAnotherSpartacus Grin he decided he wanted to hold "mamas paw" and every time I tried to move my hand he gave me an injured look and shoved my hand back down with his paw

Papergirl1968 · 25/07/2019 14:24

Oh God, Lana, I don’t know what I’d do if Matt did that. He has never had an accident, thank goodness.

Supersimpkin · 25/07/2019 15:55

Neither has Mr C, not really. I am slightly freaked at the prospect of incontinence - can't be done in this tiny flat.

It's the best day of the year for it - everything's washed and dried already Grin, colling the place down.

Glad to hear it.
We’ve just had a social worker come to the house who has a phobia of cats so Matt had to be put in another room.
I find it very odd that anyone can have a fear of cats. Not like them maybe or be allergic to them, but frightened of them? Takes all sorts, I guess.
This is the second social worker who has been afraid of cats. You’d think that going in and out of people’s houses all day, you’d be ok with cats.

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/07/2019 16:06

Grim. Beyond grim.

Supersimpkin · 25/07/2019 18:37

I've come across it, so has every cat, you can guess how cat reacts. Some people like humans so much they don't like animals, I think that's part of it.

At some point this week Mr C turns 17. Or 18. Spirit of a spring kitten to this day.

Oh wow, didn’t realise he was such an old gent. In that case he’s forgiven the occasional accident!
Matt and I send birthday wishes 🎂

Supersimpkin · 25/07/2019 19:26

Thanks - he loves a birthday. Given how frisky he is, I can barely believe his age myself.

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 25/07/2019 20:00

He’s not old, he’s just been young a really long time!.

Supersimpkin · 25/07/2019 21:02
Grin

Like Keith Richards, he's insisting he's 'only 36'.

I wish he'd take pills like Keef. I have shouted.

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 25/07/2019 21:37

I wouldn’t worry about shouting, their not listening anyway.

Beautiful!

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/07/2019 07:57

Fair play to MrC for having a birthday week not just one day. Although lord knows what you can buy him as a treat! Happy Birthweek Mr C.

Day 4 of the bird feeder, the no fly zone over my house continues.

Supersimpkin · 26/07/2019 10:00

Totally pathetic of the birds. Where is their respect for 'Nature's Way'?

You'll just have to carry on buying catfood for now.

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/07/2019 10:12

Their quite safe, not even had a rat this year.

YesQueen · 26/07/2019 13:36
