Come one, come all to the Olli et al. appreciation thread.

Mr C has started wheezing again. Give me strength.

On the upside, might see Nurse Lee tomorrow. Not in my skimpy lace nightie, Spart (good plan tho Grin).

I doubt I'll ever have the problem of mine being obsessed with anyone else - they run and hide when anybody comes into the house even comparatively regular visitors. Only people who ever see them in the flesh/fur are my DSis & nephew, and that's because a) she feeds them if I'm away overnoght & b) we think he's part cat anyway.

Supersimpkin · 17/03/2019 08:37

How nice to have a part-cat DN. They must love him.

Allergictoironing · 17/03/2019 09:54

Oh Botcat still runs if DN comes into the house, but DN has been the only person Girlcat has permitted to stroke her without objection.

YesQueen · 18/03/2019 06:43

This could turn into the tales of new man. He brought Ollie some dreamies. I have tried him with them many times and he has always declared them "minging. Nasty. Disgusting"

New man opens packet. Ollie raises one paw in a cute fashion, and consumes them happily while gazing at him. "Delicious. Mama mean. Never try these before" HmmHmmHmm

Supersimpkin · 18/03/2019 08:26

Your cat is a player.

Papergirl1968 · 18/03/2019 10:31

Ha! Ollie is so manipulative, in the cutest possible way.
A cat-loving man who comes armed with Dreamies sounds like a keeper to me. I'm half in love with him myself!

YetAnotherSpartacus · 18/03/2019 10:53

You sound far too busy with new man. Time to finally post Ollie to me.

YesQueen · 18/03/2019 11:18

@YetAnotherSpartacus GrinGrin
Ollie is adoring the fact he has TWO Hoomans an FOUR HANDS TO PET ME ConfusedGrin

Supersimpkin · 18/03/2019 19:11

Mr C made such awful noises in the night that I woke up shouting for help. The terrifying cacophony turned out to be a single snore.

He was livid and stumped off to sofa. I then had to get up and put him back on the pillow, still making earthquake-shattering-the-foundations sound effects.

Knackered.

YesQueen · 18/03/2019 19:25

Cats can snore v loudly. O is refusing dreamies "not from YOU. Where is man?"

TheLongRider · 18/03/2019 19:32

Ollie loves a threesome!

YesQueen · 18/03/2019 19:33

He will be raging when he realises we are staying out ALL night at the weekend Blush

YesQueen · 19/03/2019 08:38

Evidence of cute begging face with posed paw

TheLongRider · 19/03/2019 14:19

What was he begging for, ham or bean sauce?

He is what my Dad would call a "professional mendicant"!

YesQueen · 19/03/2019 14:39

His joint supplement tablet Confused he begs for it every day

Supersimpkin · 19/03/2019 21:06

Charm personnified. Why is your cat better than my cat? My cat just woke me up (am weedy) biting my hand and then running off to the kitchen. Wanted toad in the hole.

cozietoesie · 20/03/2019 22:24

How could you tell?

Supersimpkin · 20/03/2019 22:33

I had cooked it earlier and it was cooling in the microwave. He took his pills with it, so we're having it again.

TheLongRider · 20/03/2019 23:00

Would hiding his meds in a chipolata work?

Obviously Mr. C will adhere to the edict in the Big Book of Cat, "Food once eaten, shall never be acceptable again, no matter how often your slave offers it".

Supersimpkin · 21/03/2019 09:45

That is a brilliant idea Long. M&S chipolata might do it.

Am sitting here having just been bawled out by the vet for the Yorkshire Pudding Pilling.

Vet: You SPOIL that cat.
Me: Well honestly, doctor, you try getting three pills in every day.
Vet: Hehehehh, look at the little tinker. Cute, in 'e.
Mr C: Kwah!
Vet: All right son, calm down, you can have Dreamies in a minute.

YesQueen · 21/03/2019 10:07

It may be coincidence BUT O has been on his new tablets for 2 weeks and not cried at all for the past two nights. He's just took himself off to bed and slept silently

Supersimpkin · 21/03/2019 11:03

Now that's good news. Do you think the crying is making absolutely sure he is still Number 1 after the arrival of New Man?

Mind you, O's always been a wailer. :)

Historydweeb · 21/03/2019 11:07

Lashings of philadelphia and smoked salmon for historypuss 😅

YesQueen · 21/03/2019 11:13

He's done nothing but cry at night for weeks 🙄🙄 but yeah this stuff seems to work. He doesn't wander around in the evening crying either

Supersimpkin · 21/03/2019 11:45

Mr C has been returned from vet by Nurse Lee in his car, slightly prematurely.

Nurse Lee described 'Tony the Tiger's' behaviour as 'springy - well, that's one word for it.'

Mr C is on tranquillisers as went for the second vet. He will have to be sedated for the next appt.

Nurse Lee says stoutly that everyone has bad days.

I am so embarrassed. Also the sedatives cost a bomb.

Mr C is still getting a ham reward tho', I couldn't not.
