They've rung me to ask permission to skip pre op bloods as he's "not cooperating"
Me "is he being very bad?"
Vet "mmmm we need to do the bloods under GA"

Ours had to have a ga for his pre op bloods. They tried sedation first.

They skipped the sedation and went straight to GA

That is a show of spirit, O, independence, courage etc - all fine qualities of the upstanding gentleman cat.

Maybe a box of Roses when you pick him up so there's 'availability' if you have to take him again.

Toothless is in recovery with one bottom fang remaining

Poor Ollie, it sounds as if the tooth problems haven't affected his fine motor skills though!

Or his ability to eat!! I'll collect him about 6.30pm and pay the giant bill
