Ouch, Lana!

Papergirl1968 · 02/01/2019 10:53

Ps Matt gave me a black eye once. They love us really...😻

YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/01/2019 11:08

Oh dear. I've heard that story before in women's shelters :(

Ollivander84 · 02/01/2019 11:12

cozie will be throwing her hands up in horror at all these disobedience displays Grin

I once went for a smear test and the nurse looked horrified at my bruising... I tried to explain it was pole fitness but she was having none of it, about 40 bruises up my legs Blush

YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/01/2019 11:14

It wasn't Ollie was it Shock?

Ollivander84 · 02/01/2019 11:36

Most definitely not Grin

YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/01/2019 11:41

I couldn't see it either unless you bruise easily and he'd given you enthusiastic head bumps :)

LanaorAna2 · 02/01/2019 15:38

Apology alert - Sorry, everyone, ignore the flagrant drama llama-ing from me earlier - eye is back to normal, doesn't even hurt Blush

It wasn't Mr C's fault, he jumped up, missed, nutted me then punched me on the way down.

He's on his 4th lot of antibs now. Of course they're in pill form.

Ollivander84 · 02/01/2019 16:39

Unexpected early work finish... Ollie is off to the VET tonight

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 02/01/2019 18:56

O left at the vet with his blanket. They think they're removing all teeth except his bottom fang Blush

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 02/01/2019 19:11

Oh sweetheart, good luck.

Don't worry, he'll be fine. Good news to get all his troublemakers out.

The fang is part of his personal style and must stay, obviously.

Ollivander84 · 02/01/2019 19:16

She tried to wobble his fang and he looked at her like she was a half dead rat Blush, curled up and refused to uncurl himself

It must have been like living in a white company catalogue L.

O Ollie will be fine, it will save him so much pain in the long run.

Ollivander84 · 02/01/2019 20:21

I'm more concerned about when I collect him. His face was "I murder you hooman an then I spit on your grave and dance on it" Blush

Indeed my dear, through a bruised retina the flat looked relentlessly chic.

I've just had to do Here Comes the Aeroplane with Mr C to get another pill down.

TheLongRider · 02/01/2019 20:59

Good luck! Enjoy the night of undisturbed sleep. He'll tell you all his issues when he gets back home again.

Toddlerteaplease · 03/01/2019 09:16

Poor Toothless ollie!

Ollivander84 · 03/01/2019 11:11

They've rung me to ask permission to skip pre op bloods as he's "not cooperating"
Me "is he being very bad?"
Vet "mmmm we need to do the bloods under GA"

Poor baby :(

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/01/2019 11:15

Ours had to have a ga for his pre op bloods. They tried sedation first.

Ollivander84 · 03/01/2019 11:18

They skipped the sedation and went straight to GA Blush

That is a show of spirit, O, independence, courage etc - all fine qualities of the upstanding gentleman cat.

Maybe a box of Roses when you pick him up so there's 'availability' if you have to take him again. Grin

Ollivander84 · 03/01/2019 13:19

Toothless is in recovery with one bottom fang remaining Grin

Weedsnseeds1 · 03/01/2019 13:51

Poor Ollie, it sounds as if the tooth problems haven't affected his fine motor skills though!

Ollivander84 · 03/01/2019 13:54

Or his ability to eat!! I'll collect him about 6.30pm and pay the giant bill
