Someone needs to show them the way. They Are Being Unreasonable.

cozietoesie · 24/12/2018 19:46

Oh they'll let him in tonight. (As long as he's 'empty-jawed'. Smile

LanaorAna2 · 24/12/2018 20:37

That's the Xmas spirit.

My DM rang to tell me their ancient, daft black cat greeted the house guest who's just fallen off a long flight with a burger in his mouth. Her burger.

She was completely charmed.

Does Olly like to do skin to skin contact when asleep? So does my Tom. He is ridiculously affectionate, very vocal, saucer-eyed, does tricks on command Blush, is Dracula toothed, licks and kisses me, and generally weirdly bonded. Oh yes he howls like his heart is breaking if he follows me out and reaches the end of his territory.

But is by no means tiny. They are very similar otherwise!

He also has a special voice for the benefit of his friends and admirers....

Ollivander84 · 24/12/2018 22:48

That does sound very familiar!! But no, he's taken to sleeping in his igloo and only comes into my bed occasionally. Demands cuddles first thing though or he won't eat his breakfast Hmm

Merry XMas, Yule, Saturnalia or whatever festival you happen to celebrate at this time of year! Star Xmas Grin Star

I was woken by the very rare event of Boycat slithering up the bed until he was almost face to face with me & purring loudly - in itself a great present. Then to ensure I didn't waste any of the day by going back to sleep, Girlcat entertained me medieval style by juggling her favorite disemboweled toy mouse - I have a complete and un-gutted one for them later today as a treat.

They are now racing up and down the stairs sounding like a herd of baby hippos (I thought cats were supposed to be stealthy???).

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/12/2018 08:41

Merry Christmas!

We bought haddock back from the restaurant last night for puss. He took it out his bowl and flicked it round the kitchen.

LanaorAna2 · 25/12/2018 10:59

Mr C has already kicked off, refused two breakfasts etc. He's holding out for the platter in the fridge.

DM went to church where they were promising a real live baby in the Xmas tableau. Due to transport strikes the vicar got up to announce he'd had a hysterical Xmas phone call saying Baby Jesus is Stuck In Traffic.

cozietoesie · 25/12/2018 12:59

That has to be the Numero Uno Xmas message of all time!GrinGrinGrin

Well, the cold platter is minus corned beef and back in the fridge.

We've just had the full turkey dinner, served on the best plates with a tray each. Loads of wine in the gravy, Mr C lapped it all up and complimented me on it. Little did he know it was spiked with six pills.

Papergirl1968 · 25/12/2018 14:47

Merry Christmas everyone, humans and cats alike! 🎄
We’ve just finished lunch. Matt’s tummy is full of turkey and he’s opened his presents - a Dreamies stocking, a Dreamies tin, a new scratching post and a toy. There is another toy somewhere but I can’t find it. He took a turn around the garden, and is now on his favourite blankie for nap time.

LanaorAna2 · 25/12/2018 14:53

An old, weak, skinny brown cat.

Working on Crimbles?! O, sympathies. Bad luck eh, hope you get a big pot of gold at the very least. I bet whoever it is is dead grateful for your arrival.

I have seen friends and had three glasses of wine. Mr C can sense I am a little suggestible and obtained a third portion of stuffing. Now snoring in the amazon box.

Did everyone get good presents?

cozietoesie · 25/12/2018 18:12

A lovely throw from Secret Santa.Smile

Just my new TV but it's an all singing dancing one that does Netflix and YouTube
and I have just realised this second I can put bird videos on for Ollie Grin
Totally trying that when I get home if he isn't still like this

I can't believe my cat's now hassling me for another meal.

Drugs and alcohol? Very rock and roll!

LanaorAna2 · 25/12/2018 19:35

Mr C Stevens is similar to Keef, he's been a gentleman of the road and a strolling minstrel in his time.

Just troughed a Sheba. Dreadful belching from under the sofa.

At least his frail appetite seems to be returning. :)

Olli really is the sweetest kitling ever.

Weezol · 25/12/2018 19:51

I suspect Weezolcat may have been the keeper of a wild west bar in a previous life. She has the right combination of sweetness, sass and outright violence to run a saloon.

LanaorAna2 · 25/12/2018 20:56

She'd charm the customers prior to slapping them if they became impertinent for her favours.

Marlene Dietrich sings (part of) 'See What the Boys in the Backroom will have.' Grin
