Took me 2 hours to paint one Bit Behind Sofa No One will See. I would not hire Mr C as an apprentice. I've got to the stage where it feels endless, so must be getting somewhere.

Have put half the sitting room back together, which is brilliant as it now looks like The Joker's lair in Batman - one half bright and lovely, one half nicotine-coated splashy sinister.

Mr C has raised a set of points & wishes to enquire whether HIBU.

  1. At vet before Second Breakfast. Time for a new home?
  2. Fat servant moved sofa without permission to paint. RSPCA emergency?
  3. Reduced Sandwich of the Day -Tofu. Book Fat Servant in to be put down?
cozietoesie · 07/12/2018 15:53

The FS gave him a reduced TOFU sandwich to try to eat?

Ollivander84 · 07/12/2018 16:17

I darent even suggest tofu to O. Can you imagine the look?! Grin

cozietoesie · 07/12/2018 16:34

I can. 😀

LanaorAna2 · 07/12/2018 17:04

FS is off Mr C's Xmas card list for sure. She doesn't like tofu either as it turns out, but the M&S festive 'no-turkey' Xmas sandwich was only 40p. You can see the issue.

Normally FS is pretty dutiful about only buying reduced sandwiches that the cat likes, but she made a seasonal error.

Mr C's cold is better, but we are x-raying him on 17th as the snoring makes your ears bleed. How is PB today? Any further R&R mornings?

Nurse Lee told me he was single. Xmas Grin

Ollivander84 · 07/12/2018 17:06

I'm at the pet superstore. They have a cat size chaise Grin

Sounds possible...

Papergirl1968 · 07/12/2018 18:23

Matt’s Christmas presents have been purchased - a Dreamies stocking, a Dreamies gift box, a new Paws Off My Xmas Dinner dish, a new scratching post, and two toys!

Allergictoironing · 07/12/2018 18:33

My pair have a similar list to Mr C at the moment, but more regarding attendance of slave...

  1. Slave waking up using an alarm, rather than waiting for Boycat to jump on her from a great height when HE wants morning cuddles
  2. Slave cutting Boycat's morning cuddles down to ONLY 15 MINUTES before getting out of bed
  3. Slave showering before breakfast
  4. Slave going out and staying out ALL DAY (dirty stop out) on a frequent basis e.g. approx 5 days a week
  5. Slave coming in and insisting on changing clothes before giving Boycat cuddles

Both Boycat and Girlcat feel that the excuse of Slave having to work to earn Dreamies and Lik e Lix is insufficient Angry

Ollivander84 · 07/12/2018 18:40

One cat chaise. Which I did not purchase. Sorry Ollie

Matt should know the correct phrase is that Slave is earning Snack tokens.

LanaorAna2 · 07/12/2018 19:53

Sorry A & P that went wrong - I meant a) lucky lucky Marvellous Matt and well done to Boycat for keeping a tight rein on slave leisure activity.

Papergirl1968 · 07/12/2018 20:09

I think we all know our rightful places - firmly under the velvet paws Grin
I like that chaise...probably. I fear Matt might...er...overhang it somewhat though.

Papergirl1968 · 07/12/2018 20:10

Don’t know where that probably came from. I do like it!

LanaorAna2 · 07/12/2018 20:52

Matt could recline on it while babysitting DD's babe. When is she due?

Allergictoironing · 07/12/2018 20:52

It is very nice, and looks perfectly designed for cats. Which means my pair would avoid it like the plague, and turn themselves into knots to make sure they don't even touch the edges if they have to go past it Grin

Ollivander84 · 07/12/2018 22:42

O is doing his usual complaining
It's too windy
Human only brushed him for 15 minutes
Human didn't buy the chaise for him

April, Lana - will soon roll round once Christmas is over.
Looking forward to seeing what Matt makes of the little one!

YetAnotherSpartacus · 07/12/2018 23:21

The chaise really isn't Ollie. It was too modernist. Actually, although the design was nifty it did rather say 'bordello' in its colouring.

Ollivander84 · 07/12/2018 23:30

I mean he's got my chaise, the sofa, a footstool, a sheepskin lined igloo and the spare bed which has a personalised blanket saying Diva on it... Hmm

LanaorAna2 · 08/12/2018 09:35

for starters :)

I do wish Mr C had a slightly more democratic approach to our bed and the sofa. He has his own sofa, chair, more furniture than I do, but oh no, it's slap in the middle of bed with fat tail barring the lone pillow on my side. I've got wall marks on my face as I type.

What a looovely time to be born, April. I bet Matt will take a keen interest in his new kitten. When my mate had her baby, the cat completely took over. He used to mew loudly if the baby made any request (useful), sat with baby 24/7, entertained baby with performing tail, and once broke up a dinner party yowling indignantly to inform her that baby was awake and wondering where their invite was :)

The toothpaste coloured sitting room suits Mr C very well, his white bits are popping nicely. Not literally, I can't face another vet bill. Grin

Ollivander84 · 08/12/2018 17:50

O has got up, reviewed the weather, had tea and gone back to "his" room to nap. It's a cats life
