What is everyone's cat up to today?

Today I am 26 weeks pregnant and my cat Freya is communing with the baby. Mainly purring and gentle pawing in response to little kicks. I am hoping they'll be friends! Meanwhile Maisie is looking on disdainfully. She's in the huff because I tipped her out of the pregnancy dungarees, which she had commandeered as her personal nest.

What are your furry overlords all up to?

We're on our way to release Ernie from his prison

Had to clean out the pebble pool as we had put the hanging baskets in there and found five frogs... not sure if the increase in numbers had anything to do with Ernie being away

He's back to drinking out the fountain now it's back working

I'm cheating and using old photos :)

In this one I was trying to make her pose as a pirate, she was sitting on a shelf, I'd crossed 2 knives in front of her and was about to put a rubber skull on them and plonk a mini pirate hat I'd made from a black napkin on her head for photos when she got suspicious and came over and stuck her snout into the camera and messed up her photo shoot.

I must have been having a mischievous 5 minutes. She never got to wear her pirate hat!

Ernie has finally figured that the water pool is where the frogs live...he has gone from staring at the wall (once found a mouse in there) to staring at the pond

things are not looking good for the frogs :(

Not sure today as I'm working away from home, but before I left yesterday, he'd made himself a little nest of flattened grass in the shade under a fallen branch from the apple tree. He had patted a snail in its shell and a small windfall apple into it to keep him amused while he snoozed.

Went to the vets for vaccination and check up = trauma-ed beyond belief (he reckons) but behaved like a gentleman and when all done turned and strolled back into his carrier like he does this every day. Rubbish pic shows him recovering

I slept downstairs last night as I had to fleaspray our bedroom due to OH reckoning he has bites, and was woken at 5.47am little bugger.

As I was just posting the previous message, the postman came. Ern literally dragged his new toy out of the Jiffy bag. He's been going at it for the last few minutes

My rescue cat Ebony is lying in the sun on my carpet in 29c heat- she's loving it!!

She's been getting fluffier since I adopted her!

Ebony must be super hot..I feel for all the fluffies in this weather...Ernie has just been flopping around as it is.

We dropped our lad off for his first cattery stay earlier this afternoon. I hope he behaves himself!
