I wanted to reply to @EachandEveryone but thread number 6 is full! That cooling mat thing looks fab.

What is everyone's cat up to today?

Today I am 26 weeks pregnant and my cat Freya is communing with the baby. Mainly purring and gentle pawing in response to little kicks. I am hoping they'll be friends! Meanwhile Maisie is looking on disdainfully. She's in the huff because I tipped her out of the pregnancy dungarees, which she had commandeered as her personal nest.

What are your furry overlords all up to?

Problem solving with a toy pom-pom!

My battered old strayboy would love to jump up, but he's too portly. He has an on going problem with his 3rd eyelid, that's why it's red, but vet says it's not sore.

Sybil is in a wine box this morning.
Particularly apt that it is marked 'puro'.

Early morning scene in bed with me.

Lots of yawning and stretching going on.

Just noticed their brother was on the windowsill, watching the birds.

You can see his shadow on the wardrobe in the 2nd photo. We've actually got sunshine here this morning Shock

WheresThatCatGoneNow, oh yeahGrin. Love your username.

Dcat has decided the litter tray is only good for peeing in and insists of pooing on the bathroom floor.
i do not know what brought this on. It is driving me nuts but is marginally better than the carpet.

Want2beme · 08/03/2020 15:57

madcatladyforever one of my girls pees in the litter tray but does a no 2 on the floor right beside itConfused. Luckily, it's a stone floor! I've had her since she was 4 weeks old, she's now 8 years old and I've never known her to poo in the litter tray. I'm really not sure what it's all about.

Dear God they are all driving me mad.
Since we are in far more than usual they spend all the time demanding laps - and it's stopping us getting anything done.
I've just turfed all 4 out (it's a lovely day) and they are sitting on the patio staring at me from outside.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 22/03/2020 11:31

Given in and I've opened the door. Couldn't resist...

Is it a lovely day though? Is a barely noticeable breeze ruffling their fur making it a horrifically cold day.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 22/03/2020 11:33

Fur coats are designed to be ruffled Grin

Mine have been entertaining themselves with their new treat maze. It keeps them occupied for ages!

That treat maze looks amazing.

ILikeyourHairyHands · 22/03/2020 19:52

It is Fluffy, I got them a few new things this week as they're going to be mithered incessantly by DD who has ASD and loves them VERY MUCH, but gives them very little peace...I thought if I got them a few new bits she can help them play with them, and just observe.

It seems to be working so far.

They're indoor cats too. We have a big house and they're generally very happy and entertained but I thought I'd add to their repertoire a bit!

I also got this which is ridiculously popular with both of them.

ILikeyourHairyHands · 22/03/2020 19:55

Here's the maze.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 22/03/2020 20:45

ILikeyourHairyHands I am so tempted by that maze. How to piss my cats off wonderfully Grin.

ILikeyourHairyHands · 22/03/2020 23:12

Grumpy they would love it!

ILikeyourHairyHands · 23/03/2020 03:15

Dcat1 was just outside the front door trying to cough up a hairball. Next thing I saw my neighbour's worried face peering over the fence; she must have thought it was me coughing 😱😅

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 23/03/2020 17:11

Sybil is feeling particularly relaxed this afternoon

Imagine you are in your kitchen, with the door into the rest of the house shut.

One of your cats (in my case, a choice of four) is on the other side of that door demanding entry.

Can you recognise which cat it is by their voice?

I can. My three girls (two sisters and their Mother) have very different voices.

My big boy (brother to the two sisters) has a very different approach. He doesn't waste time saying anything at all. He just jumps up to operate the door handle and lets himself in.

His sisters usually just sit idly by, waiting for him to open the door, so that they can all wander in as a group.

Honestly, I'm not safe in any room any more 😼
