What is everyone's cat up to today?

Today I am 26 weeks pregnant and my cat Freya is communing with the baby. Mainly purring and gentle pawing in response to little kicks. I am hoping they'll be friends! Meanwhile Maisie is looking on disdainfully. She's in the huff because I tipped her out of the pregnancy dungarees, which she had commandeered as her personal nest.

What are your furry overlords all up to?

Karl is lying on the bed on my chest, nose about an inch from mine, purring his head off and pacing.
I think this is why we have cats.

DC aged 16 has her own set routine when I am at work during the day. I am off today and she gave me a punishment nip for trying to stroke her when she was having her midday nap.
That's told me. i expect she will be down for a cuddle later.

Ebony loves her scratching post

Sev is fluffy-ing about from chair, to wardrobe, to favourite box, to couch, to bathroom floor. That is his winter routine.

Sulking that's bloody what

Ernie usually sleeps on on a cushion in the bay window during the day. I knew he sometimes managed to get tangled up in the net curtain but just thought it was Ernie clumsiness

The other day I replaced one panel of net with window cling in Ern's window. He was not best pleased yesterday, and just stood staring at his cush till he eventually sat on the edge and managed to pull some net over

This morning he's refusing to even sit there

Heard a banging at the window. Karl has murdered a mouse and since it is no longer moving he is now picking it up in his mouth and tossing it into the air - repeatedly hitting the patio doors with it...

We've had a dog staying for a couple of days and he went this morning.

Ern has sniffed every inch of the house downstairs (Ern's sanctuary was upstairs). He's being quite loving and a bit clingy.

Cuddles on the sofa with Dcat#2. Too cold outside in his opinion. He doesn't have much decorum when sleeping and usually has to be lying on me.

Ebony sat on the sofa with me for the first time!! I feel privileged!

My furry one loves this cold weather i hate havong to get her in wearing my dressing gown. Daphne hates it añd my neighbour keeps telling me shes piling the weight on.

Ive started feeding them Felix. I feel bad but they love it and my purse strings do too.

Ebony had a fuss on the bed

Mine is back to his usual self after being off his food and has woken me up with a pat (smash) on the head to check I’m ok 😂

This was obviously written in retrospect! He has since chased me round the garden trying to catch my heels. It’s a good job I love the little furry tyrant 😂

We've been away on holiday for 2 and a half days. Got back to find the cat shut in the study. She had behaved impeccably! Very hungry and affectionate.

Back to normal taking over the settee
