Hope you don't mind Cozie. Newboy's Fairy God(cat)mothers love hearing about his progress.

Usually "OUT! NOW!"
But he knows my alarm sound and if I try and snooze it I get woken up

I'm really dreading the clock change. Not because of the food thing, but even though my alarm goes off at 8am Boycat has decided that 7:30 is his morning cuddle time. He's not a small cat, so when he jumps on me I have no choice but to wake up .

Asbo doesn't do remorse. When I fuss him in bed his eyes are on my silk pillowcase.

I guessed as much. At least there isn't a horse's head when you get into bed

Well we made it to 9.50 without serious protest. Now we have to aim for Final Supper at 12.50 (or thereabouts.)

I lie, I keep the skin to myself and tell Ollie it's BAD FOR CATS

We don’t eat the skin in this house. (Maybe that’s where I went wrong.)

Mr C and I fight over the crispy bits of skin.

A peaceful night for us here, not least because my non-pillow ear is blocked. How is Newboy taking the new regime?

I put a toy on my bedroom couch last night.

It’s not there this morning.

He’s left most of his lunch uneaten.

Maybe he had a live snack?.

I don’t think so. He’s just had a (fairly large) poo, though, so just maybe.........

He’s eaten some more.

He’s finally finished it off. Maybe he’s learned, at last, that he can stage his intake without some other cat coming and snaffling any leftovers.

He may or may not like it.

He might have, he's probably realised there's no other cats.

Scratch that theory. He ate all his tea in a oner. (Although I suppose, thinking about it, that the theory might not be totally invalidated - maybe he was especially hungry or something.)

Being a good eater is a fine thing, if you ask me. Is it cold with you - London is suddenly nippy as anything. Heated throw on 6, self on throw, cat on self.
