I don't think anyone's begun a new thread yet?

Hope you don't mind Cozie. Smile Newboy's Fairy God(cat)mothers love hearing about his progress.

Lasagne in a jar! (Jarsagne)

Cake and other delicious foodstuffs mush more tempting than a jar of hearts!

Someone had best stop the cats seeing this thread, they will be demanding jars of dreamies carefully arranged with layers of lick e lix

Cailleach1 · 26/10/2017 23:00

Ollie is very like a mini jaguar in that picture. Lovely shade of green eyes, too. He is quite the glamour puss. Literally.

I'd imagine the lasagne would have to be in a pyrex like glass if going in the oven.

Lanaorana2 · 26/10/2017 23:02

Peer pressure in action. Someone would suggest the nspcc on another thread. I'm suggesting the Tate & Lyle cake in a cup website.

cozietoesie · 27/10/2017 00:50

This is nothing short of food porn! Grin

cozietoesie · 27/10/2017 01:04

Newboy is currently having Hi-Jinks. (Final Supper was at 12.30.) He shall have a couple of treats in a moment.

Ollivander84 · 27/10/2017 01:06

Ollie has been draped across his bed, legs dangling and drooling for about 2hrs. I suspect that's him for the night now

Lanaorana2 · 27/10/2017 19:41

How goes it this evening? Bits of bangs around here, Mr C passed out on his back with begging paws, fang out, not bothered.

He loves Netflix day. Waitrose are doing Country Hunter!

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/10/2017 19:46

Ours has come in. Fireworks here too Hmm

I live in a very white area so it's not Divali. Everyone on our road is a w.a.s.p.

cozietoesie · 27/10/2017 19:54

He asked for some food about 5 minutes before the new half hour extension but accepted with reasonable grace when I hung tough. Sunday will be .......challenging, I expect.

cozietoesie · 28/10/2017 00:59

I gave him his last food at 12.30 by which time he was practically packing his knapsack. Sunday won’t be fun. Sad

Ollivander84 · 28/10/2017 01:39

I'm in the dog cat house too. Bought a sachet of food for him to try. £1.49 too!
He's looked at it and gone "no THANK YOOOO" and taken himself to bed in disgust

Lanaorana2 · 28/10/2017 11:39

Only day to go before

  1. Newboy is caught on the phone to the RSPCA about pet nutrition rights at 00:01 am
  2. I am caught in white gloves proffering the Winter Breakfast Menu at 4am.
  3. Olli sleeps through blissfully hugging O's bosom
  4. Asbo in disgrace after being fed late and finally eating DH, not sorry
  5. M and Little M catch a pheasant and gift it to M who has to express wild delight while retching, then pretend to eat it making om noises.
Ollivander84 · 28/10/2017 11:42

Ollie is too busy doing his "I lub my momma and my momma lubs me and we get an EXTRA HOUR to CUDDLE YAY" Confused

I don't feed him at set times anyway (luckily!) because of shift work so he's fed when I get up, before I leave for work, and when I'm home from work

cozietoesie · 28/10/2017 13:48

You’re lucky. Very lucky. I would say that Siamese adore rituals and set times but it’s a little more than that....... Sad

Ollivander84 · 28/10/2017 14:33

Well I just dropped the foil lid off a custard pot. Turns out Ollie likes custard. And also is a very messy eater

YetAnotherSpartacus · 28/10/2017 14:49

You dropped the foil lid and to say 'sorry' you offered the whole pot?

Ollivander84 · 28/10/2017 14:56

No, I ate the full pot while his eyes were firmly fixed on me in case I dropped more Grin

YetAnotherSpartacus · 28/10/2017 14:58

Fascist. Poor deprived Ollie!

Allergictoironing · 28/10/2017 15:23

Cosie you're going to have to feed him a bit earlier by clock time then slowly move it back 5 mins every couple of days. Mine are still appearing from upstairs at 8:31 looking hopeful, but don't start pestering me until gone 9pm.

Tomorrow night I'll feed them at 8:10pm clock time, then slowly stretch it back to 8:30 over the next week.

cozietoesie · 28/10/2017 15:27

I think I’ll have to adopt a similar stratagem. Sad

Ollivander84 · 28/10/2017 15:29

My mum used to swear by that for children! Moving it 15 mins over 4 days rather than an hour at once

cozietoesie · 28/10/2017 15:30

PS - he instinctively knows not to pester me for breakfast. (I’m not good first thing - he just has to wait until such time as............) Wink

Ollivander84 · 28/10/2017 15:37

You're winning there then. I got my eyelids licked at 6am Hmm he likes to come so close his whiskers tickle my nose and I sneeze
