I don't think anyone's begun a new thread yet?

Hope you don't mind Cozie. Smile Newboy's Fairy God(cat)mothers love hearing about his progress.

I had to turn off all the lights, eventually. ( I’d been leaving the hall light on downstairs - for Newboy’s comfort - but it seemed to be attracting the pair of flies.)

He’s very athletic! Grin

Lanaorana2 · 26/10/2017 13:08

It's brilliant he's so fit. He must be loving it too.

Now on final screen 9 in house thaNKS TO cat. Deranged with tappa-tappa rAGE setting up tech. This keyboar is bust in case you havent noticed.

Cat blocking wifi, snoring.

cozietoesie · 26/10/2017 13:11

I rather think you’re under the paw, Lana? Wink

RubbishMantra · 26/10/2017 13:26

Little M loved flies as a kitten. He'd follow me around the house so he could dive on them to gobble them up as I swatted them. He'd start licking his lips if I just picked up a teatowel. Didn't like blue bottles though. Too crunchy?

I wonder if Newboy shall start presenting you with lovingly slaughtered gifts cozie? Altogether now, 🎶"dead mouse in the bed"🎶

cozietoesie · 26/10/2017 13:37

Nah. He’d eat it on the spot. This cat is obsessed with food! Grin

Lanaorana2 · 26/10/2017 13:39

Everything in this place is under the flamin' paw. It's a miracle I'm not in the Household Appliances skip :)

Tra la la la la.... Big Mouse In the Bed tra lalalala...Well there's A Big Mouse In the Bed...and It Look Like a Kitten Having Fun....Fun Fun!Grin

cozietoesie · 26/10/2017 13:47

I - by mischance - left a one-fifth pouch of food on a surface after lunch. BIG mistake - but luckily for me, he’s not that quiet about his kills. (We’ll ignore, temporarily, the fact that he’d have had to go on a surface to find it. We haven’t had the ‘in my absence’ conversation yet.) Smile

Ollivander84 · 26/10/2017 13:48

You can now get a cat subscription box. With toys and treats Grin

cozietoesie · 26/10/2017 13:51

He’d like the food element. But not much else. Sad

Ollivander84 · 26/10/2017 13:54

Probably also the box. And the treats. And shredding the box to get to the treats Grin

YetAnotherSpartacus · 26/10/2017 14:02

Let us know what Ollie thinks of it when it arrives!

Lanaorana2 · 26/10/2017 14:28

Pet stealing is proof of intelligence, vigour and problem-solving skillz. It is also a good laugh. He is a teen after all.

Oh dear, I think I'm turning into an apologist. C, The Surfaces Issue appears to be raising its head rather more frequently than it did.

cozietoesie · 26/10/2017 14:32

He wouldn’t dare go on a surface while I’m around, these days.

And he’s certainly bright. And, like Sealpoints generally, an unrepentant thief. Grin

Ollivander84 · 26/10/2017 17:08

Yet Grin he is NOT having one

cozietoesie · 26/10/2017 17:23

I recall one Xmas when we had a MASSIVE turkey (24 lbs or something.) My mother decided, on Boxing Day, to take us all to see relatives so we left my uncle (who lived with us) to mind the house and look after Firstcat. (A sealpoint.)

Upon return, she asked my Uncle how he’d got on, and he replied ‘Fine...... but (and this was clearly a point about which he was a little disgruntled) you might have left me some of the turkey.......’

‘But, But, But, I did ‘ said Mother.

‘Firstcat? FIRSTCAT!!’............

Mournful miaow from the depths of somewhere.

(We found the (stripped) carcass some time later in one of his hidey holes.)

Ollivander84 · 26/10/2017 17:28

Failed stablecat (Binks) had a sirloin steak the other day. Two were left out ready for cooking and only one was remaining...

Lanaorana2 · 26/10/2017 19:07

Everyone enjoys a spur-of-the-moment takeaway Grin

Especially if it's deliciously dirty Grin Grin

cozietoesie · 26/10/2017 19:15

I even turned the heating on in the basement - he could hunt in comfort!

Ollivander84 · 26/10/2017 19:34

Ollie is being polite cat. Yes, that's a jar of cake

cozietoesie · 26/10/2017 19:36

Those look like very covetous eyes to me. Grin

Ollivander84 · 26/10/2017 19:40

He's had some of his favourite sweeties (whiskas trio) and is now on my chest. As usual

Lanaorana2 · 26/10/2017 22:32

Eh? Cake in a cup?

Ollivander84 · 26/10/2017 22:35

Yep. In a jar Grin like this
It's layers of sponge, jam and buttercream

cozietoesie · 26/10/2017 22:38

Don’t, Lana. Just the picture was enough to have me slavering. Grin

Ollivander84 · 26/10/2017 22:43

I swear Ollie was actually drooling. Although he's asleep now and dribbling on his own leg Confused
