I don't think anyone's begun a new thread yet?

Hope you don't mind Cozie. Smile Newboy's Fairy God(cat)mothers love hearing about his progress.

My friend has some spare sheepskin she is selling. I'm contemplating a bed liner Grin

Lanaorana2 · 12/12/2017 23:10

OOh yes, definitely, sounds lovely.

Mr C's just shut his paw in the front door. It's spring-loaded and vicious. Licked it miserably, but 10 min on he seems ok, not limping.

O ITV3 on now, best show ever for your new job, although nerves of steel required.

Kibobear · 13/12/2017 04:27

Our sweet girl Christmas Evie is almost impossible to get a photo of - managed to sneak this one today after tummy floofing ❤️

Trotted off to the supermarket today. I spot felix AGAIL doubly delicious. Ah ha, I think, let's mix that with the rejected natures menu
I cart it home, tell Ollie that Cozie recommends it and it's lovely
He walks to his bowl, sniffs it, does HmmHmm face at me and walks off
I've threatened him with smart price food next

TheLongRider · 13/12/2017 13:10

The little brat will probably wolf it down and ask for more!

I have you guys to thank for the Lick-e-Lix addiction that I have now created in my own mogs. I spotted a box when shopping and thought what the heck, I'll try some. Their reaction was hilarious. They'd have eaten the bowl if there was more on offer.

I'm telling you, it's far from Lick-E-Lix they were raised!

Ollivander84 · 13/12/2017 13:17

Ollie won't touch lick e lix Confused or dreamies. I have a very strange cat. He's doing zoomies around the house to celebrate the fact it's above freezing

cozietoesie · 13/12/2017 13:53

Did you buy the meaty flavour? (My boys despise fishy flavours.)

Ollivander84 · 13/12/2017 13:57

No, fish flavour as he can't have beef and all the packs had beef in. He's just sneezed at me crossly and stomped off to eat it so it can't be that bad Wink

cozietoesie · 13/12/2017 14:03

Ahhhhhh. Grin

Hang tough!

Ollivander84 · 13/12/2017 14:05

I am. Have been tough and not topped his dry food up Wink if he's hungry he has the wet food there

Lanaorana2 · 13/12/2017 14:22

Evie is utterly lovely - that face! She looks v happy with the tummy rub too.

Mr C has just forced me to open all doors and windows; zoomie; thunk onto sofa; steal my lunch while I shut them.

Trying another NSAID today.I am going to sit with him and try and do some work in case he feels odd.

cozietoesie · 13/12/2017 14:43

Yes. Evie is wonderful. She looks so cheerful. Smile

cozietoesie · 13/12/2017 19:36

I suckered Newboy this evening. I didn't give him his tea on time so he had to come and demandrequest it. I went down to the Siberian wastes (the kitchen) and dished him his plate of Country Hunter. He sniffed it, gave me an old-fashioned look and then tucked in. Grin

Lanaorana2 · 13/12/2017 20:34

You GO girlfriend!

The natural order is restored. That feels nice and right. How is the tiny prince otherwise?

Mr C is very sleepy and has not risen for roast chicken. Am hoping this is good news re meds. Neither of us is moving from sofa. I note that, rather than reading poetry as planned, I have discovered the four most poetic words in the English Language: 'Bendicks Bittermints Catering Pack'. The right words in the right order, as WH Auden put it.

cozietoesie · 13/12/2017 20:50

He's currently in his LWT and hunkered down. I have a feeling that I shall pay for teatime - but it felt good. Grin

Ollivander84 · 13/12/2017 21:33

I have a lightly warmed cat on my lap making a noise that's a cross between a grunt and a snore. Seems happy enough Grin
More felix has been consumed. I forget his steroid jabs make him hungry so I'll stash the "no like" food until after the next one

cozietoesie · 13/12/2017 21:34

Did he finish the 'mix'?

cozietoesie · 13/12/2017 21:37

I'd forgotten what a heck of a noise a young and seemingly healthy Siamese can make. The rest of you would be dialling 999 Grin

Lanaorana2 · 13/12/2017 21:47

He's telling you.

Nice for the little lad to express himself in song.

cozietoesie · 13/12/2017 21:54

song??

It's little short of a battle paean!

Ollivander84 · 13/12/2017 22:01

He's eaten a whole pouch of the felix Grin and is now singing at me. Maybe they could do a duet

cozietoesie · 13/12/2017 22:26

Hah! I reckon that Ollie would run for the hills. Grin

Ollivander84 · 13/12/2017 22:35

He would probably do his horrified big eye face and go completely mute
Saw Balls today, strolling along the top of a 10ft fence Hmm

cozietoesie · 13/12/2017 22:44

It's how Siamese win most of their fights. They just open their mouths and their poor opponents think 'OMFG - what have I got facing me? ' Grin

Ollivander84 · 13/12/2017 22:51

Grin when Ollie sits outside shouting "hello" (that's what it sounds like) none of the other cats will go anywhere near him
