I don't think anyone's begun a new thread yet?

Hope you don't mind Cozie. Smile Newboy's Fairy God(cat)mothers love hearing about his progress.

Ooh there has been a sighting in the kitchen!
I have a LW blanket on my bed, but tomorrow I am off to the stables so riding, feral visiting and then my first work shift

He knows which side of his bread is buttered. Grin

Lanaorana2 · 08/12/2017 22:15

Those eyes....I'm staggered you're allowed out of the house. Except for food foraging duties and feral-baiting, grudgingly. :)

Lanaorana2 · 08/12/2017 22:18

Throw protest in action.

Trying to post out calendars

Well he wouldn't eat his tea again. While it was in the kitchen. As soon as I took it up to his room, he scoffed the lot.

I guess that the ambient temperature in the kitchen isn't up to scratch. Neither is it carpeted. Grin

All of which means that he's not really hungry. I shall have to think about the amount of food he's getting. 😎

Lanaorana2 · 09/12/2017 20:59

Mmm, might be an idea Grin Are we now demanding room service?

I hope at least you get a tip at Xmas Grin

Self and fat pet on another M&S roast chicken because it warms the flat up so well, plus ginger cake also in oven to add warming wintery feelz.

Mr C has been clamped to my calf since 8am. Decorations done = 0, presents = 0, cards = 0... but I have posted calendars to F and 0. C yours are supposed to be sent direct for speed BUT I have loads here if they don't turn up.

Is Newboy a Netflix fan?

cozietoesie · 09/12/2017 21:18

Room service might be his thing. (He's just finished off his breakfast which I brought up at the same time as tea. It seems he prefers to eat in the evening.

Fine by me. Grin

Lanaorana2 · 09/12/2017 21:23

Is his real name Elvis?

Fluffycloudland77 · 09/12/2017 21:25

Ooh thank you Lana. You got the money ok then?.

Lanaorana2 · 09/12/2017 22:03

I did!! thanks v much. There are spares should you need any.

cozietoesie · 09/12/2017 22:03

Elvis, schmelvis! Grin He's going to have a rough ride at Xmas when I broach the Gin.

Lanaorana2 · 10/12/2017 00:26

I hope he's paying for it. :) Sleep well, off to warm the bed up for Mr C.

cozietoesie · 10/12/2017 11:54

We've had a 'regime change' here. You now only get food if you're hungry. (Ie we skipped breakfast.) Smile

Lanaorana2 · 10/12/2017 13:13

Ooo, let's see how that meets with approval.

Any day now I am expecting to see a five-star review on TripAdvisor for hot new establishment Creature's Cafe.

'Discovered by one of our roving hipster operatives, at first this establishment scored a single point due to kidnapping our reviewer. Not practice prescribed in standard leisure industry training, one would think.

But over time, the staff have proved themselves diligent, attentive and able to cook to order, delivering their signature Lightly Warmed dish promptly and with courtesy.

Bedroom and leisure facilities are of a high class. Further aspects of the premises will be reviewed at a later date'.

Lanaorana2 · 10/12/2017 13:18

Blizzard here. Natch Mr C has insisted I open all doors and windows so he can curse the pigeons through the whirling flakes.

cozietoesie · 10/12/2017 14:13

It doesn't appear to have occasioned any distress. (He's been playing madcap with his feathered mouse - which now has virtually no feathers - and just came to ask for a treat. (Unusual at this time of day.))

We're only on Day One, though.

Ollivander84 · 10/12/2017 15:02

Ollie ventured outside for approximately 40 seconds and is now squawking at me because he's "starving and freezing" Hmm

Lanaorana2 · 10/12/2017 16:43

A thought to warm the very cockles of the heart... Newboy playing while it snows outside.

Deeply warm the cockles.

cozietoesie · 10/12/2017 17:27

It's too cold for snow at the moment.

Anyway - Newboy is like Seniorboy and Oneago. Thinks that life is 70 degrees with carpets. Grin

Lanaorana2 · 10/12/2017 18:15

Mr C is coming round to that way of thinking.

Worm pill. He's eaten half the dose. The rest of it is not inserted after 10 attempts and packet 3 of ham bought last night. I am now infusing the battered but perfectly normal-sized second tablet in gammon juice.

I'm going to have to start again, aren't I, it won't work now. He's v purry tho'.

You know the scientific insistence from biologists that animals can't point? Rubbish. (quel surprise). Mr C points with his eyes, not his paw. He's trained me to catch his eye and follow it, then obey command.

cozietoesie · 10/12/2017 18:18

He's purring because he's 'won'. Grin

Lanaorana2 · 10/12/2017 18:34

Grin Oh dear.

cozietoesie · 10/12/2017 20:52

I put his tea in the kitchen and he ignored it and walked away. I then put it upstairs in his room - with carpet - and he scoffed it up. Hey Ho.

Lanaorana2 · 10/12/2017 21:56

Is carpet a recognised enthusiam of Siamese?
