I don't think anyone's begun a new thread yet?

Hope you don't mind Cozie. Smile Newboy's Fairy God(cat)mothers love hearing about his progress.

She seemed quite contented perched on the windowsill today. Shouted at me a bit then blinked lots

Techn1cal · 10/11/2017 18:37

It's me, Lana, but I can't get my name to go right so I've made a new one.

Shall we include Paws in the calendar? :)

cozietoesie · 10/11/2017 22:23

That’s down to Ollivander, I guess. Is she part of the household yet? Grin

Ollivander84 · 10/11/2017 22:34

HmmAngry NOT MY CAT Grin

Ollivander84 · 10/11/2017 22:34

To add, the electricity man was holding the door open today for Whisky and looking confused
"It looks like it wants in, but it won't come through the door?"
"Yes. It doesn't live here" Hmm

cozietoesie · 10/11/2017 22:38

That would be a No then? Smile

Ollivander84 · 10/11/2017 22:41

Ollie is glaring so it has to be a no. I'm feeling the gaze on my back

cozietoesie · 10/11/2017 23:24

Ah. ‘Wants his cake and eat it’ would describe that behaviour I think? Grin

Techn1cal · 11/11/2017 10:38

He and Paws make an adorable couple.

How goes it this morning?

cozietoesie · 11/11/2017 13:27

A chilly day here. He’s in the LWT. Smile

Ollivander84 · 11/11/2017 13:43

Pets at home trip done. Fat cat has natures menu and wellness core wet food and some wellness core dry food it was on offer
Hopefully he won't turn his nose up at the wellness stuff...

Techn1cal · 11/11/2017 16:22

Our caretaker, who is Definitely One of Us, gamely signed for Mr C's flawless 50 carat diamond arthritis supplements. Insertion shortly.

Kibobear · 12/11/2017 04:16

I'm slowly being forgiven for going away on holiday for a week. I get cuddles then Hermione remembers she's meant to be cross still Grin

cozietoesie · 13/11/2017 00:48

I found out what the odour in the sitting room was. Sad

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/11/2017 06:29

What was it?

cozietoesie · 13/11/2017 08:20

He had sprayed. I caught him in mid-spray last night. Just at the place where DBro sits when he’s over. Guess he doesn’t like DBro?

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/11/2017 09:09

Pets at home sell cystease, you could try it for one month & see if it helps. My vet said it's safe to use alongside zylkene.

I used to blame asbos spraying on behaviour before realising his stress was linked to being sore.

cozietoesie · 13/11/2017 11:26

Thanks, Fluffy.

Allergictoironing · 13/11/2017 16:14

So what was his reaction to being caught mid-spray?

Lanaorana2 · 13/11/2017 16:16

Commiserations C. If it helps any, after three hours frenzied tidying pre-guest tonight, I proudly polished my mirror tray for serving drinks. Mr C threw up on it. And everywhere else. Now i think about it, guest is not a cat lover :) Mr C tried everything to no avail, can't have gone down too well :) :)

How goes it today? Let's hope Cystease does the trick - can you get it at the pharmacist, ours sells the cat version and worm pills, etc.

Poor Dbro. He may be in for some very unfestive conduct at Xmas. Maybe if he brought a little present for N?

cozietoesie · 13/11/2017 16:26

I was very short with him and shut him in his room last night. (He has all his orders there.)

He loved it. Sad

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/11/2017 16:35

Cystease is pets shops & vets. I haven't seen it in a human pharmacy. It's very similar to zylkene but I think it's got hylauronic acid in it to build up the bladder lining. Or something like that.

Our cat dislikes mil & sil but LOVES dhs cousin. Full on rolling over take me home this pair are bastards performances.

cozietoesie · 13/11/2017 16:40

So you reckon he has taste? Grin (The first two, anyway.)

Lanaorana2 · 13/11/2017 17:29

F roll on those yuletide family moments to remember Grin Maybe DH's sis could be gifted a calendar? I am paying for MIL's myself - actually, we could all send her a copy, one for each room.

C that is heartbreaking. There must be a tactic for dealing with the abuse-as-attention circle he's used to. Humans get it after all. Pondering.

Mr C is sulking really badly because I am only feeding him wet food with crushed diamond pills in it. Ie not replacing it with three other menu choices when he rejects it.

cozietoesie · 13/11/2017 17:30

I confess that Newboy seems to prefer a more .....authoritarian regime than we’re accustomed to here. (cozietowers is a pretty easy-ozy place for cats despite rigid adherence to the House Rules.) I may have to up my game. Grin
