Executive decision by Mr C.

Brilliant, thanks. Will try that. Little lad's washing his sore thigh now, again, third time today. Heated throw on, I hope that will ease it a bit.

I've had arthritis in my hands, amazing how much it hurts. V clumsy at stroking Mr C too, had to use different fingers to complete his Complimentary Ears 'n' Chin tickle after breakfast. :)

When Seniorboy became aged he had to have supplemental pain relief. There’s no shame if you can find one that suits.

Lanaorana2 · 03/10/2017 21:55

Will report back, thanks so so much.

He's now stopped grooming and leapt up onto the top of the sofa. Typical.

Vet tomorrow.

Poor Mr C. Sad Can he take steroids if he's not allowed non steroids? Arthritus really is miserable, it runs in my family. I wonder if Tellington Touch actually has any really benefit? Some folk swear by it.

Lanaorana2 · 04/10/2017 10:14

We're running through the options today. Treatment for humans has really upped its game in the past 10 years, you know, my mate had the disease virtually stopped in its wicked tracks. He's fine now, no traces at all, he just has to inject himself every other month.

Off to google Tellington Touch....

How goes it C?

It must be midnight supper time. Hopefully the soup or chicken is warming or Newboy will be tapping his watch

cozietoesie · 05/10/2017 00:23

He seemed to ‘go off’ chicken! Shock Tonight he had ......mixed pouches (ie ‘the remains’ of earlier meals) and liked that very well indeed. I was three minutes late and there were terrible scenes. Grin

Ollivander84 · 05/10/2017 00:31

Was there blood drawn? Has he shredded you to pieces and you're posting from beyond? ShockShockShock
Also, a cat that eats leftovers?! Shock
He's a keeper

cozietoesie · 05/10/2017 00:37

No blood drawn. But he became so ridden with anxiety that he lept onto the counter where I was mashing up the four x one-fifth pouches. I was so shocked that I just stopped and had (reasonably gentle) words with him. Whereupon, he retreated under the kitchen table.

The noise continued from there. Grin

cozietoesie · 05/10/2017 00:39

leapt

Ollivander84 · 05/10/2017 00:40

Shock he's getting brave....

cozietoesie · 05/10/2017 00:47

Oh he has the heart of a lion - they all do. The trouble is that it’s combined - in his case - with a quite ferocious intelligence. You can see him thinking about things.

cozietoesie · 05/10/2017 00:48

He’s sounding off again. Third time since midnight...........

Ollivander84 · 05/10/2017 00:52

Grin are you answering? I'm being glared at by a squinty eye cat who thinks eye drops are evil

cozietoesie · 05/10/2017 00:52

And now he’s up on the bed. Hoping for treats, I guess.

Newboy: sequel that's better than the original
cozietoesie · 05/10/2017 00:54

Oh Yes. Every single yowl is answered - and then I go off on one! Grin

Ollivander84 · 05/10/2017 00:57

He always looks so smart. Like he should be wearing a dapper bow tie or something
He's definitely warming to the Creature Wink

cozietoesie · 05/10/2017 01:00

He’s still there! Shock

Ollivander84 · 05/10/2017 01:01

Breathe. Umm don't move? I would be frozen in one spot Grin

cozietoesie · 05/10/2017 01:02

He’s finally gone down so I can move again. Still. 10 minutes........Smile

Ollivander84 · 05/10/2017 01:04

It's progress Smile

cozietoesie · 05/10/2017 01:08

I hope so. Smile

I’m trying to surround him with......sameness. Siamese are usually sticklers for routine. (Hell on me but that’s the least of it.)

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/10/2017 07:38

Good grief he is getting braver. Did he talk to you after you had words with him?.
