Executive decision by Mr C.

Oh LOVELY pic! On the bed with you in it for 10 minutes. Did he get treats at 1 a.m. for his efforts? Grin

RubbishMantra · 05/10/2017 09:10

He has such a dear , worried little face! Even his tail looks apprehensive. Is it kinked? You can see it hasn't been plain sailing for the poor little chap so far. It must be so hard for him to shake off that feeling of apprehension he's lived with since a small kitten. He's beginning to loosen up by the looks of things. Smile

NEWBOY ON THE BED!!!! in technicolour!!!!!

Emotional beauty, to the max. Oh you must be so pleased.

Brilliant how he bawled you out for late service. Jumped on counter!! Shouted!! No tip in saucer!!!

What a fantastic picture :)

Kibobear · 05/10/2017 12:47

Newboy looks so precious

cozietoesie · 05/10/2017 13:16

I think he expects to be turfed off,Mantra. (Remember, he’s never been allowed to sleep in bed in all of his life so far.)

Lanaorana2 · 05/10/2017 17:51

He wants to, though, doesn't he. He wants bed bad.

He is really quite the most exquisite person. Beside him Mr C looks like an experiment in a soft toy factory gone wrong. Not that I'd swap.

Rubbish day here - the vet stood Mr C up again, the charity where I volunteer recycled/threw away my only non-thrift store jacket the second I turned my back and a teenager picked my pocket on the bus (nothing vital, just fags and cash).

On the upside, still warmed with pleasure about Newboy and Mr C is delighted at having his diet delayed.

I won’t hear a word against Mr C. After all, he gives good cuddle if I recall? Grin

Poor you. What a horrible day.

Ollivander84 · 05/10/2017 18:49

I'm fascinated to see if he retires to the bed tonight. Ollie is glaring at me from the floor as I'm washing his bed and personalised blanket

cozietoesie · 05/10/2017 19:09

Goodness. You only have one of each? Shock

Ollivander84 · 05/10/2017 19:11

Yes Grin
He refused to sleep on the cat bed for about 6 months. Until I went to throw it out Hmm

Allergictoironing · 05/10/2017 19:31

But but but... It won't smell right if you wash both together! Mine are always suspicious of my bed on duvet change day; they don't care about sheets change (different day to save my back) as they lie on top of the duvet.

Lanaorana2 · 05/10/2017 21:36

I don't think Mr C suffers from low self-esteem, well not any more.

He really answers to How does it feel to be/The Most Beautiful Cat in England, he likes the way I sing it to him every morning. He sings back with a chirrup.

On me now, picking bits ham out of the pasta. I bet Newboy will sleep with you soon, but I suspect you won't know it till he wants you to.

You must be feeling faintly tested re the rigorous routine maintenance. But wow, is it working.

O I got into serious trouble washing Mr C's throws. Now I dry them indoors so there's no rubbish about them smelling cotton-fresh or anything like that. :) Might be useful...

That's an awful day Lana you poor woman!. What a little scumbag.

Lanaorana2 · 05/10/2017 22:18

Hey ho, it was kidz from the same college that do all the stabbings, so that's a spot of perspective from the urban jungle.

I'm miles more perky now - I was so hacked off I stumped down to the first night of the new Bladerunner. Brilliant - every scene a stunner, so pretty and gritty, and the story was gripping.

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 06/10/2017 20:07

Did he manage to work water into it, somewhere? Smile

Lanaorana2 · 06/10/2017 22:51

Into the film? Yes, buckets of it - I thought Ridley Scott made it - reminds me of Alien & co - but some French bloke did it.

How did today go? Any further bed-related action?

OP posts:
RubbishMantra · 06/10/2017 22:57

Utter wankers, Lana! I'm glad that Bladerunner was like hyacinths for your soul. I fancy seeing that myself. Added bonus of the creepy-handsome Jared Leto. My local picture house has wine and sofas.

My 2 lovable twats scamps have nibbled a chunk out of a Waitrose hamburger I left out to chambre. At least they haven't ragged it all around the house...

I can't stop looking at the picture of Newboy-on-the-bed. Although apprehensive he may be turfed off, he still wants to give it a try. You won't be able to get him off once he realises you're happy to share. I'm sure you're heading towards a very strong sentient beings bond. Lovely.

Ollivander84 · 06/10/2017 23:13

What's Newboy up to tonight? I am becoming overly invested Grin

Cailleach1 · 06/10/2017 23:22

Oh goodie, delighted to see him on the bed. He is alert. He will relax over time until you are the individual sharing his bed. I click in most evenings hoping to see a photo positive development. He is on the hook. It is a matter of biding your time to reel him in a bit more and then some more. Sorry for unfortunate fishing reference, but I think it does describe it. Or it is like that game, Operation. Steady does it. Bit by bit. What you are doing is rehabilitating him.

He seems to have been lacking kindness and affection. Any life is bleak without these.

Sorry to hear about the pickpocket. It smarts, but good they didn't get anything which is difficult to replace or important.

Lanaorana2 · 06/10/2017 23:22

Go and see it at once, it's a corker.

So glad you know cats are sentient too, M. I cackle whenever a scientist 'discovers' yet another gem of feline intelligence to be carefully logged in the august annals of the Institute of the Bleeding Obvious.

Lana I used to give my old girl Seraquin. It's a joint supplement and it really seemed to help a rickety 20 year old.

Weedsnseeds1 · 06/10/2017 23:27

Oooh another sighting. He's so dainty and delicate looking cozie !!
