Well the postie might as well not have bothered with the heated pad. (Unused as far as I know.) The only thing which appears to have met with approval - wild approval, actually - is the corrugated cardboard scratch lounger.

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/09/2017 18:35

Aldi/lidl usually do them in Autumn for circa £30.

All my previous throws have ended up as asbos special blankie.

He properly loves that throw doesn't he?. Thank you but he's got a fur igloo. Dog sized.

Is there a cat rescue near you who could use it?. It sounds perfect for poorly cats.

cozietoesie · 10/09/2017 22:39

Can the throw be used for 'on top' of things? The heat pad came with so many H&S caveats that it has me terrorised.

Ollivander84 · 10/09/2017 22:47

I use mine on top of stuff like if I'm on the sofa, or on top of the bed Smile
Ollie is preferring to sit on the wires Confused

Lanaorana2 · 10/09/2017 23:04

Yes, I put it on the sofa, then the cat gets on, I get on top of cat. Has yours got auto cutoff ? That's what calmed me down. Naturally Dbro said oh of course it will cook the cat,bad luck eh, but it can't.

cozietoesie · 10/09/2017 23:48

I'm not too worried about him cooking - he's bright enough to move first - just didn't want any fires in the place.

Ollivander84 · 10/09/2017 23:56

This is the one I have, there's an instruction booklet link too

Mine also Dreamland. If we go at least we're all together. Grin

I thought you sat under them?

Lanaorana2 · 11/09/2017 11:56

Yes, but Mr. C goes on top. He asked me to turn it on after breakfast after his chew.

RubbishMantra · 11/09/2017 11:57

Heated throws! Don't they make you too hot? I thought you were all discussing what we'd do re. our furries' in the event of a nuclear attack! (What would we do??!!)

Ooh, conversation from your Newboy cozie! Does he know about his dedicated faerie cat mothers clucking over him? Maybe he's saying he wants you to take a good head shot of him to post on here? Lana, your action shot of Mr. C is very Baconesque! Study of a Cat!

cozietoesie · 11/09/2017 12:58

That's true! Grin

Lanaorana2 · 11/09/2017 13:35

Yes, he,s definitely asking for his official portrait. I got this when attempting to share the throw remote.

Haha! "Hands orf me buttons!" I may have to get the boys one of these hot blankets. I always feel a bit guilty and sorry for them because I don't like the house too hot.

Lanaorana2 · 11/09/2017 20:58

I bought it for the little prince and we,re both in lerve. They don't get too boiling, was pleasantly surprised. Fresh air freak here too.

Lanaorana2 · 11/09/2017 21:02

Never be guilty, cats self regulate temp. Only arthritic ones can do with tropical climes.

It's freezeballs in London. Indian summer my arse.

Thought of newboy tonight when I spotted this - yes he is fast asleep with his head hanging off the side HmmGrin

I have given into peer pressure and ordered a hot fleece as an early Xmas pressed for them, the Dreamland grey one. They were all like, "Ooh, gwan mum, you know you want us to be toasty!" There's one model called a "Cozietoes"! Grin

Lanaorana2 · 12/09/2017 12:17

Well, peer pressure can sometimes be a fine thing. At least we,re not flapping about which trainers to get to stop RT hem being menaced in the playground. Grin

I'm on phone as you can tell from typing. M,. Your fashionable kitties will love you forever.

C, how are we this am. Things have come to a pretty pass when pix of Mr c,s paw substitute CV for the portrait.

Asbo would thieve every pair of Adidas from each cat on this thread. Just saying.

I just went next door - to dish out some mid-afternoon treats - and found Newboy flaked out on the very top bed of his new activity centre. Smile

Allergictoironing · 12/09/2017 16:58

So all the effort of building it was worth while Smile.

If he's happy to sleep out in the open, he HAS to be feeling more at home.
